"Jericho" Back in Action? That's Nuts!

Jericho For all you super-obsessed "Jericho" nuts out there, worry no more!

CBS is steps away from sealing a deal to bring "Jericho" back from the TV graveyard for at least eight episodes, this according to TVGuide.com. An insider was quoted as saying the deal hinges on signing the actors to new contracts and finding a soundstage to house the show's sets. The series, which focuses on a small Kansas town coping with a new reality after a series of nuclear attacks by terrorists, could return as soon as mid-season. Kaboom!

Jerichoholics have launched all sorts of desperate campaigns to resurrect the show, including bombarding TMZ's email accounts with pleas. People -- listen up -- we can't bring back TV shows!!

Diehard fans have also sent shipments of peanuts to CBS in a move to persuade them to pickup the series. The peanuts were an allusion to a bit of war-cry dialog in the final episode. "Nuts!"

For the first time, television executives will work for peanuts.

19. All I can say is "YEAH". This is one of my most favorite shows. We are a big CBS family, in fact this is the only channel we watch.

20. I try to never watch a new series when they first come on TV because every one I've ever liked enough to watch long term gets cancelled. But, I watched Jericho and loved it! Sure enough, CANCELLED!!
These idiotic programmers all need to be kicked to the curb and new people brought in that understand what people want to watch.

All these stupid talent shows and "reality" shows and marriage proposal shows need to be cancelled and replaced with top quality thought provoking shows for adults. But that means paying writers which is why we ended up with all these stupid shows in the first place. When the writers went on strike the networks needed shows that didn't use writers we ended up with all the "reality" shows. GET THEM OFF THE AIR AND GIVE US QUALITY TV!!!!!

21. Thank you for showing the Save Jericho Campaign support!! We're axiously waiting for a response from CBS. 8 episodes are better than nothing. We'll take it, and promote Jericho like crazy to make sure the "ratings" are up to CBS standards.

27. Unbelievable. This is such good news. I am so happy.
Let's hope all the stars are available and also that 8 episodes is NOT a mini-series but the return to a full season 2.

30. This is great news! If it is indeed true, then we fans will have to be sure not to dissapoint the network. We will have to recruit more Jericho fans and show them what they were missing out on. If the network pulls through for us, then lets do the best we can to support the show and all the fantastic acting!!!
