LC Who? Spoiled Rich Kids Move to Newport

If you haven't yet gotten your fill of over privileged white kids getting famous for no other reason than for being over privileged white kids, then today is your lucky day!


TMZ has obtained the first exclusive clip of "Newport Harbor" -- the next iteration of MTV's next "Real OC," and the locale might be new, but from the looks of the trailer, the usual suspects are the same. Scheming blonde Brooke Hogan-alike? Check. Pretty-smart-has-it-all girl who can't stop whining? Check. Smooth-chested white boys acting as foils for the much more interesting (read: bitchy) girls? Check, mate!

The surreality of this O.C. unfurls in "Newport Harbor," August 15 on MTV.

4. Good lord, it needs to stop!! Who CARES! MTV needs to go back to their roots: MUSIC! Or, have YouTube hours where they pull out the really funny or horrifying or stupid YouTube examples - - at least it will be more amusing than these insipid teen shows filled with Paris Hilton wannabes

9. I agree #5, America just looks dumber and more tasteless everyday. MTV blows and so do the people that watch it and like that crap.
What happened to the music, man? Enough with the lame reality shows, when will it go away. Celebrity is just getting more annoying by the day. I could do without most of 'em.

11. MTV used to be all music all the time. That's what made them famous. Now there are bad shows and all this "reality" crap.

I remember when MTV was launched and it's a sad day to see how far they've gone to "grab" viewers!
