77. She should def be prosecuted! Even if she didn't mean to kill someone, that person still died because of her negligent driving. That's manslaughter; the crime of killing someone without meaning to do so. She knew that it was dangerous to drive that fast yet she did it anyway. Just because it was an accident doesn't mean that it couldn't/shouldn't have been avoided.
I'm guessing that she'll get off though. Celebrity status = above the law.

79. so i'm curious, lets just say that all you haters get into a horrible accident that was technically caused by you and someone dies, are you suddenly going to jump infront of the judge, state you're a murder and that you belong in jail for the rest of your life or however you currently feel brandy should be locked up, or are you going to be begging for mercy and saying that it was a horrible accident that you wish never happened!!! i'm sure everyone here in that position would say that it was a horrible accident!!! also i have friend who hit an elderly gentleman on his bike as she looked down to change the radio station. the guy was pronounced dead at the scene and all she got was community service, i can 100% guarantee that she was not a celebrity nor rich in any way!!!! so i'm really curious were you're argument comes from that "if this happened to a normal person we'd be thrown in jail" to me it sounds more like the majority of the people that come here are people that at one point dreamed of stardom just to end up in a dead end job with a life they hate, who come on here to just get a glimbse at what could have been and over time started to become bitter against those that have made it!!!! so sad!!!!

80. Accident or not, someone was killed, maybe not murdered, but killed. Its why there are laws for involuntary vehicular manslaughter. Doesnt matter location of accident, gender, race, or anything, its a LAW period. They are only debating it because shes famous, and thats not right. If your every day person had done this, there would be no debating.

82. I think if she would have been paying attention, she would have breaked WAY before she slammed into the other car. These idiots think that they can do whatever they want to do, and not have to pay for any of the consequences. It's NOT RIGHT at all!!!! Say she was the one in the other car, with one of her family members, and someone who wasn't paying attention flew into the back of her car and ended up killing that family member, Brandy would be doing everything in her power to have that driver punished for what they did. Yes, it was an accident, I'm sure she didn't mean to kill or even injure anyone. If she would have been paying attention to her driving, and not something else, lik a cell phone or radio, or whatever, then she would have had plenty of time to stop before slamming into that car and that resulting in someone's death. Accident or not, it was her irresponsibility that killed someone, she should DEFINATELY be punished!!! No question about it!!!!!

83. If Brandy pulled in front of this lady out of road rage and because the lady was white, she deserves to go to prison for murder and a racially motivated hate crime. I heard in the news releases after the incident, that Brandy intentionally was upset from getting cut-off earlier in traffic, and pulled right in front of this lady as if on purpose.

84. hey jim, paris didn't go to jail for blowing a 0.08, she was put on probation. she went to jail because she violated that probation on at least 3 occasions (those were only the ones where she was caught) . you or i would go to jail for a lot longer....probably atleast 3 months for the same violation.
