Marguerite Perrin, the God-obsessed shrew who infamously lost it on FOX's "Trading Spouses," after returning to her family, has lost her daughter Ashley in a car crash. Ashley Perrin, 25, was driving on Interstate 55 in Ponchatoula, La., reports the Hammond Star, when her minivan hit a guard rail. According to cops, Ashley "was ejected" from the vehicle and died at the scene, but the cause of the accident is unknown. Ashley leaves an 8-year-old daughter.
The victim's mother is best known for her "God Warrior" ranting, particularly trying to throw FOX cameras out of her house when she returned to her family, and initially refusing to accept the $50,000 prize money -- because it was "tainted" and "dark-sided."

The statements that are being made here today could go on for days, as alot of the things that are being said has been in debate for years and will stay in debate for years to come. I feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to attack someone's faith at a time such as this. As everyone I hope would agree, that what is needed for this family is support, not negativity.

#44 - Please find a Bible and read the story of Job. This is the best explanation you will get as to why bad things happen to good people. Job had everything taken from him but he stayed faithful in his love for God. Then everything was returned to him in 10 fold. Now, why test him? Perhaps those who were around him and saw his never ending strength and were inspired by him. Perhaps it led others to think, no matter how bad I have it, I dont have it as bad as that guy - and they start appreciating the good things in life instead of focusing on the bad. We NEVER know how things affect all of those on the outside who are looking in.
FOR EXAMPLE - look at all of the GOOD discussion this message board has provided to those of you who are asking "why"? Perhaps, this is God's way of speaking TO YOU! Its no burning bush, but it doesnt have to be. God can speak through all of us and use us as a witness to his love and power. In fact, I consider it an honor to have been chosen by Him to give you this answer.

Funny, I grew up without religion, without being told that premarital sex was evil, or that God or the Devil even existed.....yet all of my siblings and I are extremely successful in our lives, did not have children until after we were married and had good stable jobs, and are very happy and well-adjusted. Yet this girl grew up with a Mom that instilled in her that anything they disagreed with was "evil" and "darksided".....and was knocked up by 16 and dead by 25. I guess sometimes "God" looks out for those that don't believe in him more than those that do.

#44 - I forgot to answer 1 part of your question...
No matter WHAT a person does (as hard as that is to accept), all they need to do is ask for forgivness and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and yes, they will get into Heaven.
Does that mean someone can shoot up a cafeteria and then say "sorry God!" and thats it? No. They need to TRULY ask for forgiveness in the capacity that they are ready to TRULY receive that forgiveness. Then they are to live the rest of their life following God's Word. You cant use it like a crutch, but you if you mean it - you will be forgiven.
Do you have to go to church? No. You can worship anywhere you want to because God is with you ALL the time. But going to church keeps you a little more inspired and gives you an outlet in which you will find ways to serve the community the way that He wants you too. Also, you will find great strength in those around you who constantly lift you up anytime you need it. Its kinda like, do I need salt on my meal in order to eat it? No, but it makes the experience a little more enjoyable.
