how did tom chose giselle over his baby. is it because he is longer with brigette. lots of children have split families... Brigette and toms baby is no different. i don't think Tom abandoned the little guy.... Hopefully both Brigette and Tom do right by their son and put differences aside - Little john shouldn't have to be in the middle if everyone acts like the adults they are supposed to be.

Love how Bridget has handled a very difficult situation. Her son is adorable and she seems to love being a mom. I really like her and am SO glad she kept her baby. A true inspiration.

It's a shame there's such a shortage of birth control methods available to these people. In this day and age there is absolutely no excuse for an "accidental" pregnancy. It's just carelessness and irresponsibility plain and simple. Maybe if the laws were changed so these thoughtless women can't sue for spite support...oops I mean "child" support, they would be a little more careful about "unplanned" parenthood. Women fought long and hard for equal rights and this kind of crap just throws us back into the dark ages.

Bridget and John are well rid of the big-headed, immature playboy. He's 30 going on 16, and cares more about his hairstyle than his son. Bridget seems to be doing just fine, and some day will find a good man to love her and give John some sibs. Bridget is SUCH a class act...an amazing woman.

Look if she's breast feeding tom has no way of feeding the kid he have to take bridget with him so leave him alone for not being there for the kid. Ever thing bridget wanted to have a kid she's 36 maybe tom donated the sperm. Give them a break and the kid imagine what the negative comments about his dad will do to his ego in a few years. She's doing what she thinks is best and him give them both a break.

The reason I stated the first statement was that they both have said so in interviews. They didn't know she was pregnant when they broke up and even for awhile afterwards.

To the person who asks about where Tom is now, he is working at his job, just like many fathers do, even far away from their babies, in many professions and in the military. If they were still together, he would still be traveling around the country playing football, just as many married athletes do and they don't see their kids alot during the season. The baby is only a month old and everyone is acting as if Tom is being a terrible father. Give the guy a chance.

Bridget did do an Ok! magazine article this week with the baby on the cover, so it isn't as if she wants to keep the baby out of the public eye.

Yes, women fought for EQUALITY. That means equal rights and equal responsibilities. Men are equally responsible for birth control...there are lots of options out there for men too. If he wasn't prepared to take on the responsbilities of fatherhood, which includes treating a child's mother with respect, then he should have been more responsible.
