Her hips don't lie and neither does her wallet! Shapely Colombian pop singer Shakira dug deep in her foundation's bank account and donated $45 million to charity on Friday.
The sexy singer announced the donation during Friday's Clinton Global Initiative meeting. Forty million will go to Nicaragua and Peru to address recent natural disasters there, and an additional $5 million will go to educational projects benefiting children across Latin America. Move over Angelina!
Shakira's a serial do-gooder: She's the co-founder of the Latin America for Solidarity Foundation, which helps impoverished communities across Latin America.

I am so impress with Shakira. She has raised the bar for all the young women who make money selling CD's. WIth Avril's latest comments "âI am a very giving person. When the hurricane thing happened, I went to my closet, filled six boxes of stuff and said to my assistant, âTake it to Katrina!â I also like to give stuff to people who are my âworkers,â especially if they donât make much moneyâ.
