Celebrity Justice
Judge to Brit -- You're Too Chaotic, Custody Denied

The decision is in -- Britney Spears has not regained custody of her kids.

Issuing his order today, Commissioner Scott Gordon gave Spears three visits per week, two from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 PM and one overnight visit. The visits will be monitored.

Spears and K-Fed are ordered to figure out holiday schedules with the kids.

Britney must submit evidence that she childproofed her pool area by Friday.

In the order, the Commish wrote that when Britney has the kids, "the environment at the house ranged from chaotic to almost somber with little communication at all." The Commish also recounts what the parenting coach complained of -- that "during all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play."

According to the report, the coach wrote, "It seems that [Britney's] choices are dependent more upon what she wants to do at any given time rather than what would be more enjoyable for the children."

The coach also said Spears seemed to have a "lack of general attention at times" but there was nothing she "would characterize as abusive in a traditional sense."

And then the most damning comment from the parenting coach: "The problem is that unless Ms. Spears realizes the consequences of her behavior and the impact that it has [on] her children, nothing is going to be successful."

47. i love britney spears to death. i bought her cd today, and in general i think she has made some great, fun music. but, after reading the court order today i am more convinced than ever that she suffers from some type of mental illness. i find it very sad that people feel the need to bash her, instead of realizing that bashing her just causes more harm than good. yes, she is famous and has made some terrible choices in life, but she is HUMAN. good luck britney. keep in touch with your family, and keep working on yourself b/c only good will come out of it. your cd is fantastic by the way!

48.
Diagnostic Features:

Histrionic Personality Disorder is a condition characterized by excessive emotionality and attention-seeking. This disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing.

Complications:

Individuals with this disorder may have difficulty achieving emotional intimacy in romantic relationships. Without being aware of it, they often act out a role (e.g., "victim" or "princess"). They may seek to control their partner through emotional manipulation or seductiveness on one level, whereas displaying a marked dependency on them at another level. Individuals with this disorder often have impaired relationships with same-sex friends because of their sexually provocative behavior or their demands for constant attention. They crave novelty, stimulation, and excitement and have a tendency to become bored with their usual routine. Although they often initiate a job or project with great enthusiasm, their interest may lag quickly. The actual risk of suicide is not known, but individuals with this disorder are at increased risk for suicidal gestures and threats to get attention and coerce better care giving.

49. Well she's lucky she will get to see the kids at all. Glad to see that the judge is looking out for the kids best interests. Britney's family needs to have her involuntarily committed...and soon.

50. There is no way the judge could ever give custody back to Britney, unlike what she has in her mind... they are not two super balls that just bounce back and forth. Parenting is a joy not a burden, a responsibility not a game. (makes me wonder how she treats her little dogs. Probably the same way as her children .. as "accessories" )

Has she had an IQ test? The way she acts I would guess her functioning to be very low.

What parent in their right mind would ever have a pool without child proofing it? Or drive with them on her lap, or knock them out of a highchair, any of the things that she has done, or not done with her children.

I think K-Fed got more than he bargained for.. He thought he hit the jackpot by marrying/impregnating Britney.. Instead he only got the jackass.
This time.. he can't walk away from his children.

51. So basically she needs to change her whole life. I don't think she is willing to do that seeing how she was out partying and exchanging clothes with some random bartender chick just last night. Girl wants to PARTAY!

Kfed FTW!

52. I understand some of you people do not like to check facts, so I will help you. Go to People and read what Lisa Hacker's ( Brit-Brit parent coach) attorney Sorrell Trope said to People about Brit-Brit parenting skills....wait I'll help you by cut and pasting it:
"There were some negative things, and some positive, but the beneficial things far outweighed the negative." and Trope tells PEOPLE that he remains "absolutely confident that Ms. Spears will eventually regain 50-50 custody."
People please get your story straight first!!!

53. I think Britney needs some help, however K-Fed is not any better...seriously, the Judge should just take the kids away from both parents until they can both prove that their ready to be parents. K-Fed is just a GOLD DIGGER, and Brits been so busy working that she never learned how to be a parent.

55. Thank you Judge for making the proper decision.....Just because she gave birth to them does not-a-good-mother-make. Bravo, Thank you, Thank you. As a Mom of 3 under 10, I know there are stresses that go with being a parent. My goodness, there are stresses just from waking up and breathing. Sleep well dear Judge....Job well done!

60. Kevin may not be perfect but it didn't take a court order to get him to child proof his pool.

A lack of attention to the kids and an accessible pool is a sure recipe for tragedy.
