24. the side effects for a lot of medication will do this-ever see anyone with rheumatoid arthritis? to live without pain, the combo drugs make you blow up sometimes. also anyone who has had a transplant-the non rejection drugs play havoc with your body. You trade one thing for another. Just to be alive is usually worth it.

27. Why should he have full blown aids? I have a friend who was infected with HIV in 1988 and he is still healthy. Everyone's body reacts differently and I'm sure because Magic was in great shape for so many years that helped.

28. I can't imagine how difficult it is to be a professional athlete... always watching your diet, training excessively. My guess is that when you let up a bit from such an extreme regime, your body responds differently than somebody who was always lazy. :) He still looks good, though. Lots of girls like chubby guys. They don't call 'em love handles for nothin'. :)

30. He does not look "great." Obese people do not look great. Obese does not equate with healthy. Please. In fact, with his immunocompromised state being obese just adds another host of potentially problems including diabetes, heart disease etc. Sad.
