Figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi better watch out -- there's a few sour Tonya Harding-types in the "Dancing with the Stars" mix.
Penn Jillette already ripped her a new one, saying her triple axel-filled past (like that of all the choreographed boybanders before her) has given Kristi an edge ... and he's not bellyaching solo.

5. I admire how Amy Sedaris "came out" last week about her Internet addiction and particularly her addition to cyberstalking and cyberbullying. I would love to see her discuss her addition on TMZ TV sometime.

6. Kristi Yamaguchi has a total edge and she knows it, and she trys to down play it, Acts like she is so shy, oh ya, right. She used to skate in front of thousands of people....She is so competitive, she probably practices extra hours etc.
i don't care about her being in it, but don't try to act like you don't want it, or can't dance...please....

8. She has no more advantage than---- Mario (who has dancing experience in his shows) , Sabrina (who had dancing experience for her shows, Mario Lopez who has had dance lessons in his past ,
She hasn't skated professionally for years. The only thing skating has given her for DWTS is "grace" Being a figure skater doesn't help her with the steps but it does help with being graceful

10. Oh Please. What a bunch of idiots you all are. Here is a professional dancer telling you that, yes, absolutely , an olympic skater has an advantage. Of course she does. Skaters train rigorously in all kinds of dance disciplines from a very young age. It's a huge part of their training. She was probably taking ballet, jazz and modern master classes when she was 6 years old.

You CANNOT be that high level of an ice skater without LOTS and LOTS of dance classes of all varieties. It is not comparble to boy-band types who have only ben choreographed. We are talking YEARS of dance training - it is akin to having a amateur ballerina compete. Kristi is fantastic - but is it truly fair - or is this all just a ruse to get more ratings?

12. I think what Kristi has that the others don't is stamina - she's still in great shape and can probably train a lot harder and more effectively than the others. Did you see Shannon Elizabeth - she almost passed out!
Most of the pro athlete do well because the have the discipline and stamina to take the hours of work.

14. Someone said that apollo was also a skater exactly the point and he won!!! They have the training, the grace, the stamina and the competitive drive to win. It comes easier for them to win. I think Apollo was up against the girl who was tall, and it was impossible for her to do some of the moves the others could even do. I think it is not a fair advantage. I think Kristi has it in the bag from the beginning unless everyone is so starstruck with priscella presley. She does look good considering her age. I have to say she does in all fairness to her.
