Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.
When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
Don't understand what happened to this guy. He had a lot going for him but for some reason wasn't happy until he messed it all up.
Does he realize now how good he had it and how much fun he was having? I wonder what he thinks of the decisions he made that messed it all up? Is he convinced he made no mistakes? It looks here like he doesn't regret a thing. I hope he READS the comments and sees what they say.
Little early for breakfast. Watch out for all that fat and cholesterol. Does this guy realize how good he had it?
Any white homo that has to post for attention "lacks" in all areas in person sweetie. I'll take mine off the board anyday and do.
The "Desiderata" and "Amazing Grace" are nice poems but what the H do they have to do with an item about Barry Bonds? Do you get your rocks off by posting long irrelevant comments on blogs?

Y'all quit hating on Barry, he is going to have plenty company soon. there are many others who are going down right with him
but I bet you peckerwoods have nothing to say about that..right" why don't you miserble angry pieces of crap do the world a
favor..jump off a bridge!
To #27 Forever Black, you are really wrong. Racism has nothing to do with this. It all comes down to the fact that this was about Barry Bonds, who happens to be black. He is a cheater, right along with Jason Gianboni, Mark Mc Guire, A-Rod and plenty of other players, black, white and hispanic. Bonds is no where in the same class as the great Jackie Robinson, who without his great courage thre would have been a longer period of time that great non white atheletes would have had to work for. And how about those great players who came after Robinson....Willie Mayes and Willie Mc Covey? The great Roger Maris, who also played honestly and with class? Forever Black, this is about players who have cheated....and Barry Bonds is one of them whether you want to face it or not. I used to love the game of baseball and there was nothing better to me than watching a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants in the early 1960's. Both teams had major talented players and although I was a Dodger fan, it was always a thrill to see both teams go at it with their honest players. Bonds like many other players who chose to use steroids is never going to be in the same class as Mayes, McCovey, Maris, Mantle, Robinson, Koufax, Marichal and hundreds of others, black, white, hispanic and asian. If you chose to be racist, your choice but don't you dare point the finger at those of us who refuse to honor Bonds simply because you see it as a racial thing. It's not. He cheated....plain and simple to get a homerun record he could not get on his own hard work.
HE HAS AND WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE MORE MONEY THAN ALL YOU BROKE,BITTER,ANGRY SONS-OF-BITCHES!!
cb, you're right. Bonds isn't the only one who's going down. I expect Roger Clemens (a white guy) to go down big time any day now. Not only did he juice but he lied about it to Congress. If Bush hadn't pulled strings for him he'd be in prison already and I don't think even the President can protect him for much longer. But that doesn't change the fact that Bonds cheated and doesn't deserve that record. Willie Mays supports him in public but I bet he cries in shame in private over the dishonor his godchild was brought to the game.
jay-t: You're right he has more money. He still sold his honor and, in the end, money is a poor bedfellow. They don't call it cold, hard cash for nothing. I may not have his money but I sleep a hell of a lot better at night and I'm not afraid to meet my Maker.

Clean up the game or start 2 legues. They have non-roid body building. Baseball should do the same.
Juiced up league and non juiced. Clemens and Bonds could own the juiced legue and you fill in the blank can run the non juiced league.
The 2 would never play together so fans know what their getting for their $$$$$$.
K, interesting idea. Doubt it would ever happen because MLB seems more interested in trying to make themselves look good by banning juicing but two leagues would give a choice of baseball for power (juiced) and baseball for skill (straight).

All of you morons who deride Bonds are fools. He is perhaps the best baseball player to ever don a uniform, regardless of steroids usage. Educate yourselves (difficult for most of you semi-literates) re his reasons for shunning the media and perhaps you'll gain some insight into his machinations. Finally, I bet you would have loved to have him on your team through the 90s and early 2000s.
mgod,
if you think that Barry Bonds is the best ballplayer to ever done the uniform, you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about baseball. Learn some real baseball history before you start comparing Bonds to the likes of Sandy Koufax, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Satchel Paige, etc. Actually I think my vote for best ever might go to Satchel Paige. He's certainly in the top 10. Go check out MLB.com, particularly the historical players before you spout off on a topic you know nothing about, a$$h@le.
