Former "My So-Called Life" star Wilson Cruz ('memba him?) is GLAAD to be alive!
While in South Florida this weekend to receive a GLAAD Award, sources tell TMZ the 34-year-old unknowingly ate chicken stuffed with lobster -- with compliments to the chef, but Wilson is severely allergic to shellfish! TMZ spies tell us that after a few bites it was obvious something was wrong with Cruz. We're told staff at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel were quickly dispatched to local area shops for Benadryl and another Anna Nicole Smith-like emergency was averted.
A rep for Wilson tells TMZ "Wilson is doing fine and remained for the entire ceremony."

Indian reserve---- indian burial ground ---- death to non natives and everyone else
Don't you watch teen slasher movies???????
Of course I 'memba him! The guy's got talent--acting, dancing. I'd love to see more of him .( He was last spotted on "E.R." And, hey! He coulda got the role that went to Jesse Borrego, another seldom-seen, hot, talented Latin actor.)
Stay well, Wilson. Miss you.
I forgot about that guy. He looks almost exactly the same!
If he's that allergic to seafood, why wasn't he carrying an epi-pen. That's SOP with severe food allergies.
Go Sox
Come on, he performed in RENT on Broadway circa 1998. Was fabulous!!!
Yup, I agree about those restless Indian spirits...also Tribal Law interacting with US Constitutional law is fascinating....I miss Anna Nicole.
He was also on The West Wing for a while... his character worked for C.J. while she was Press Secretary. (IMDB has him listed as just having been in two episodes, but I've got the series and I'm pretty sure he's in more than that) I think he was also on Noah's Arc and even Party of Five along with a slew of other single appearances on other television shows such as NCIS and some made for tv movies as well.
Wilson Cruz is SOOOOOOO disgusting! I still remember him on "My So-Called Life," that show of ultra-pessimistic teen angst. As a young gay guy growing up then, I was appalled by his gay representation on TV since he was certainly NO role model for me to follow. I never cared much for those effete type guys in high school one bit. Thankfully, there were some cool jock guys who swung my way, and our sexuality was totally discreet and not advertised much like Cruz's character, and Cruz himself, display around Hollywood. Yes, I know people who know him, and they state he's your typical bed-hopping homo with thinks he's fabulously famous. Whatever! He will always be that yucky gay guy from an equally bad show.
I remember Wilson, I'm so surprised that no one remember his role recently on Noah's Arc, he was terrific in that episode as well. I hope he is doing better. I have a crush on him.
