"Idol" Is a Diamond in the Rough

Why are they picking such " has been " song writer tunes for American Idol. The show needs some more umpf. Try Nickelback instead of the lame 50's 60's music the show is promoting. Why do they do this? Do they think by celebrating some
" has been " they're reaching another generation of viewers. News Flash-- They are just boring the heck out of the viewers that do watch the show and they're making good singers sing lousy songs. Then of course, injustice prevails when the judges blast the singers, instead, they should be saying, --->>> Andrew Lloyd Webber, your songs are boring and they suck the big one.

I'm hoping for Brooke's early departure. She is just awful.

Why do all these sheep bother with this show? From what I've seen of it (glimpses here & there) it's inane....yeah go spend your $$ to "vote" - as if it mattered!!

AI has been boring since Taylor Hicks. He was the last 'real' performer on the show that made me tune in every week. The 2 best from this years have already been voted off!

Jason Castro needs to go!! HE SUCKS!!!!! Brooke sucks, too. Mediocre at best. Syesha after that.... then frog face Archuletta with Cook reigning supreme.

confession time: i'm one of those 'blasted boomers' y'all think are so LAME-O and I love Neil Diamond. You're not going to find too many more prolific songwriter / singers around. You might not care for his style but he sells out EVERYWHERE he goes. As to AI wanna-be's only Brooke and David C. did any kind of justice to his songs.
