Ruben is one of the best R&B singers out there. How many rags does he need? How many did Elvis need, he had his scarf guy, what about James Brown he had his own guy come out there with a scarf when he was sweating to the oldies. When you're putting that much into a performance like Ruben does and the other greats, you need a rag or a scarf. Clay probably does need a rag, but not on his head.

From American Idol fame to this? He has great pipes and is now a lounge singer? Rue, you have to loose the weight my friend and maybe they can market you and save your career. That fat ish played out in 1990 and you have to remember the horrible end of Big Pun???? Let that be your inspiration for change.

He opened for Aretha here in Detroit about 18 mos. ago & he was swamped with sweat then, too - but loved his voice!!

Clay & Ruben are best of friends, always have been, always will be.... no rivalry there. I honestly wish the 2 of them would do a reuinion tour together. They produced the best finale "Idol" has ever seen... still watched by more people than any "Idol" finale before or since, still the narrowest margin of votes & the closest race of any "Idol" finale before or since.... & no one has yet to match the charm & fun of their onstage chemistry, either performing together or in interviews together. I think it would make millions!
