The yentas at "The View" -- on a road trip to Vegas -- muzzled David Archuleta when he started defending his stage-dad from hell -- so they could question Jeff himself from the audience.

5. Well, well, well, you finally put something that is true on here about David and his dad. One thing is missing though you need another part of this video where Cook defends his dad too. He made it a point to defend David's dad on The View also and he talked about what a great dad he was and very supportive. This in front of millions of people, so can you stop trashing this wonderful kid and his family. Did you hear David A. sing. It was fantastic.

10. He can say whatever he wants, but the fact is, he was banned from backstage at Star Search, he was banned from Backstage from American Idol. He cost Idol a huge amount of money by forcing his son to change lyrics to a song etc.... sounds like a bit of a pain in the ass.

13. TMZ Staff - You clearly have no morals or anything good within you. I honestly don't see how you all sleep at night. Sure, your jobs pay your bills but, it's GOD who you will have to answer to one day. You just might want to remember that when you are writing these stories!
David is a wonderful human being. Much more so than anyone on your staff will ever be! David's dad shouldn't have to defend himself at all but, but when he does...you shouldn't try to make lies out of his statements! It's obvious that he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't!
As for all of those who continue to believe your stupid reports...they are just as stupid as you are! How many people will it take shooting down this rumor to finally get you all to grow up and STOP believing this GARBAGE??? David has said it's not true, his father has said it isn't true, and now even David Cook is saying it isn't true! Get the message people!
