A simple "there's no truth to that rumor" would've addressed the question. But a comment like "there's no rumor" could just as easily mean "that's not a rumor... it's the truth!"

The lady doth protest too much. I believe him to be gay which is cool....he should embrace it 'cause all the great roles for young hotties will be gay characters anyway in the coming years. Would love to see this cutie in a boy/boy love scene (and I'm a str8 female)
