Shreveport Police Say They're in the Wright

The PoPo in Shreveport are blowing off accusations of racism in the arrest of Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, saying they've found no proof of an alleged racially-fueled rant.

A spokesman for the Shreveport PD tells TMZ the chief has reviewed all in-car audio and video and found the officers used "professionalism" in the arrests. We're told witnesses at the scene say the arresting officers used extremely foul language -- including the "N" word -- and there's cell phone video of at least a portion of the confrontation.

We're also told other officers heard the offensive tirade, but Shreveport police tell us none have come forward. So far, the Department has not taken any action against the officers.

1. Again, you SAY there is the evidence of a "cell phone video" and "other officers" to corroborate the accusations you're trying to tout as EVIDENCE. Well, - where is it? Talk about playing the "race-card".

3. Other officers won't come forward. I learned about it in a criminal justice class, it's called the blue wall of silence and rumor has it that if you betray your fellow officers, there goes your back up, with death threats and harassment very likely. We watched a video of an officer who HADN'T ratted out is colleagues, but he was suspected of it, and he stopped getting back up on his calls and received threatening notes in his locker. I'm not saying the fight did happen, but if it was witnessed by other officers, they aren't gonna come forward and say so.

4. Thank You!! Whoever records anything that can get a cop in trouble brings a smile 2 my face. Just make copies and try 2 stay low profile because cops will do anything in their power 2 try 2 help other cops meaning they will arrest u 4 no reason and try 2 bribe u, arrest a family member or friend and try 2 bribe u, steal your cell phone, or even try 2 kill u. Police are the most corrupt gang in the country reguardless of what they insinuate on the news and in the papers. Trust me i got harrased after my deposition when i filled a lawsuit against them 4 wrongful arrest which has been pending 4 the last 5 years. They keep tryin 2 settle outta court and i say no. The last offer they made was $13.5 thousand. It may take 4ever but they wouldnt offer that if they werent in the wrong

6. There's no cell phone video, or they would have posted it. I'm sick of the whole TMZ "We were told..." Told by who? Who's cellphone? Who told you? This stuff is getting old quick. Breaking news my @$$.

10. Actually there is audio and video evidence of the cops using racial slurs but those who took the photos/audio recordings gave it to Brolin and Wright's lawyers. That's why the video hasn't been released yet - they might be saving it for trial or a hearing.

that's one of the stupidest things I've read in the last monbth, or so. If, and I do stress the "IF", any of the semi-actors or their attorneys had the fictitious video, it would be all over the internet and STILL be used in court. Your logic is HIGHLY ridiculous.

13. "We're told" is not investigative journalism; it's rather tired and tiring stochastic speculation and gossip, so I'm told. Boy, most of tmz's staff couldn't even get a job as resident hermaphrodite in a seedy carney freak show of 100 years ago-even though some of you look the part, straight out of Central Casting.
