Redmond O'Neal is pissed off.... either he wants to be alone, or he's in a wanky mood because he was charged yesterday with felony possession of methamphetamines, along with daddy Ryan O'Neal.

2. This kid breaks my heart. He's been in a house of hell for his entire life. No doubt he was abused by his psychotic father and enabled to do drugs and ignored much of the time. I'm sure both of his parents were too busy doing their own thing. The kid has been on drugs since he was very young. That is his parents fault and he hasn't had a chance. His entire youth was lost and it is tragic. I pray for him that he can find some way to turn his life around before this kills him and maybe he can help others like him. Good luck Redmond! Some of us are on your side!!!!

4. It just goes to show money can't buy happiness. The kid's life has been frozen in this drug hell since he was about 10 or 11 years old. He never had proper parenting and has probably never been truly happy. His father must be extremely selfish. With Ryan it was never about the kids, it was always about satisfying himself. It's just sad. I hope his life gets better soon.

5. What a waste. I HATE people who have all the money in the world, resources and throw it all away. Here he is leaving in a nice condo , driving Mercedes all paid for by his mother. You know hehas no reall job. Never worked a day in his life or went toschool t olearn anything except drugs.That car has a handicapped hang tag. Did you see that? Maybe it is for Frarrah.

You have no idea. He's never had a normal life. I'm sure he would trade all the toys to just have love and normalcy in his life. He has been addicted to drugs since he was very, very young. I blame his parents 100% for that. Where were his parents when he needed them? It sure looks like they were too busy doing drugs themselves. Ryan O'Neal was blessed with this precious child and he screwed up his life by enabling him and abusing him. I don't blame the boy. I feel so bad for him. I've seen glimpses of his tragic childhood play out in the tabloids over the years and it isn't pretty. His brother Griffin has revealed some very ugly things about Ryan. I just hope he can overcome the obstacles and become a better person than the people who raised him.

8. God this kids a loser. Spoiled rich brat. He's one of those celeb kids that will never amount to anything. Like Christian Brando. I remember seeing a national enquirer at my grandma's house about 10 years ago with redmond smoking a bong on the cover and kind of figured how his future would progress.

11. Anybody that does meth with their kids or knows that their kid is on meth should just be taken out back and given the Old Yeller treatment. Shame on Ryan for being such a crap parent and shame on Farrah for being a freaking mess as well that is so out of it that she isn't trying harder to get the kid to seek help.

13. Sure, this kid's upbringing may not have been the best, but he's had much, much more than millions of other kids that haven't turned to drugs to screw up their lives. He he has had choices to make and he made them. No one puts that pipe in his mouth or that needle in his arm. I myself am a recovering addict so I know what I'm talking about. As hard as it may be, he can get clean and stay clean if he wants it bad enough. Unfortunately, it takes work which is clearly something Redmond has never had any interest in. Drugs? Hell yeah! Get clean? Nah, why bother when I have a dad that enables me? The argument that he's had a tough life make me want to throw up--stop blaming everyone but yourself Redmond, and start acting like a man! Start thinking about someone besides yourself and get your head out of you sphincter!

14. I've never understood "meth addiction" and how it makes people lose health, mental stabiliy, ect . . . . . ? You'd think as soon as thier bodies had HAD ENOUGH or A LITTLE TO MUCH thier bodies and minds would protect them from continuing. If they were lab rats or monkeys I'd understand. You'd think mind over matter would matter in these matters but I guess not. They're like dirty Cops on "THE BLUE" they can't stop by themselves.

15. From what Ryan's other kids have revealed, Redmond's childhood wasn't just "not the best" but rather was downright emotionally and physically abusive. Rich kids have fewer protections than others (the social workers are much less likely to intervene, and fewer people not on the payroll are witnesses). Plus Redmond has an unlucky genetic heritage which undoubtedly makes him more susceptible to addiction. Starting so young makes it much more difficult to stop. It's not that he has no responsibility for his actions as an adult - it's just that he has a much steeper hill to climb than most, Expect him to fall down a lot, if he manages to get started on the climb at all.
Money has never guaranteed happiness, and it often gets in the way. Much better to have at least one good parent and live in poverty than to have two bad parents and live in a mansion. Poverty doesn't cause drug addiction . Poor drug addicts just attract the attention of the police more often than rich drug addicts (for obvious reasons) and when rich addicts do get into legal trouble, they have plenty of money for bail and teams of lawyers . Many people grew up poor and never became drug addicts or alcoholics or murders or thieves or muggers etc. Poverty adds another stress and so might possibly increase the odds of abuse by a weak individual, but plenty of poor parents don't abuse their kids regardless.
