With just two little words, Beyonce re-ignited the world's biggest cat fight at the Oscars last night -- belting out the same song Etta James threatened to "whip Beyonce's ass" over just a few weeks ago. 
Completely ignoring the verbal attack and physical threats Etta unleashed when B sang "At Last" at Obama's Inauguration, Knowles busted out the song AGAIN during last night's Oscar telecast -- as the most dramatic moment of an absolutely horrendous musical number.
B had to know it'd make James pissed, so we gotta ask ...

Yea they all were lip-singing, and i didnt think it was that good idk kinda weird but i luv beyonce and i dont think she say "at last" bcuz of that it was in a movie she made so she had to sing the song she sang a bit of "one nite only" 4rm dream girls.

I despise just about everything this attention seeking media whore does. Aside from that...
1. The musical number did not suck. It was just very obvious she was lip-synching. But then again who doesn't lip-synch or sing along to a track nowadays. . So it must be okay...
2. Hugh Jackman is hot. I will tolerate any mediocre singer to watch him. Yum!
3. The whole night pretty much sucked IMO. When the academy begins to recognize true talent instead of popularity I will be happy. I don't believe that happened with every award last night. But...when can't all be please the outcome can we?

Beyonce singing that song for our new president (whom Etta also dissed) is an insult, so how does she feel about the song being used in a hoover commercial.
The musical number was cheesy as hell. The banter was good this year, like with Tina Fey and Steve Martin.

I think she had to do that number to promote her role in Cadillac Records. It makes perfect sense that she picked the song because everyone is saying she will probably get nominated for that role. Etta needs to get over it. It isn't HER song and if she felt so strongly about it and knew she was right, I'm sure she could have gotten a legal team to whoop Beyonce's *ss, no? beyonce has paid homage to here on several occasions. The version of the song on Beyonce's Deluxe Version of the album, is a live performance where Beyonce thanks Etta for making it possible for artists like her to pursue a career in singing. I believe Etta was present at that performance. She's just a bitter old b*tch.

I'm sure that Beyonce didn't "diss" her on purpose. There was a song-writer who came up with that piece, not her. and i know that for a fact because they gave him credit after the performance was over. and i didn't think it was "horrendous" as you say, i thought the mix of songs was kind of interesting.
