Mickey Rourke walked through LAX yesterday sporting his latest canine accessory -- a chihuahua named Jaws.
Mickey continues to display an ability to heal quickly.

Does Mickey Rourke have a short, limited attention span or attention deficit disorder? Or perhaps this new dog is like replacing a spouse within days of their departure: unable to handle loneliness or some "down time" to contemplate you inner self.
I'm sure "Jaws" and Mickey will will happily ever after...and the fairy tale goes on.

Mickey had more than one dog when Loki died.....& how is it that you came to the totally stupid & inaccurate conclusion that he is "healed" from losing Loki??? You guys are heartless & brainless.

He's got FOUR dogs left after Loki died. (he had 6, but he lost one before Loki and then Loki.)
What do you expect? He should stop caring for the other dogs he's responsible for? Neglect them because he's "grieving?"
And so what if he adopted another dog? The best testiment to a pet's life is that they taught you to love, and that love should be shared with pets in need of good homes.

Mickey has something like seven dogs and he's had this one for awhile. Loki was the one that always traveled with him so maybe Jaws is now filling that position.
Besides what does getting a new dog have to do with the love he had for Loki? A new pet never REPLACES a lost pet, whether you get it a week later or a year later. When I lost my cat years ago, I got a new one within a week. It didn't mean I had "gotten over" my loss. I just couldn't stand not having a cat to love.

Jaws is NOT a new dog, you hardhearted SOBs. Love Mickey; always have and always will. He's a kind, tender, bighearted guy who was on a dark path for a long time and finally found a way out. BTW he got ROBBED of the Oscar.

i have two long coated chi's. mickey needs to bring his babies over for a play date :) my oldest is a chubby thing and needs more exercise. my little boy is a teacup size and full of energy! come to think of it, i need some exercise too...hint, hint...

the mind and heart are not blackboards that a memory of something lost or someone lost is erased. so if mr rourke is doing anything with another one of his much loved dogs, it doesn't mean loki is not still missed or has been forgotten about. i hope that when i die i come back as one of his dogs
