play audioThe folks over at "American Idol" have hit a XXX snag by upping the final 12 to 13 this year. Turns out the sequenced telephone number for contestant 13 is already in use -- by a phone sex company.

"A.I" only owns twelve numbers (1-866-IDOLS-01 through 1-866-IDOLS-12) -- the prescient porn company snatched up 1-866-IDOLS-13.

The "Idol" brass had to scramble -- they'll reveal the number for contestant 13 tonight.

Meanwhile, there's a whole bunch of hot-sounding ladies waiting for your call...

9. Well, for the first time since Idol has been on the air, I plan to VOTE - each and every time at 1-866-IDOLS13. Wow, never thought dialing to vote for a contestant on IDOL could make me blush and want to hear more. And even when they are done with the 13th finalist, gee, I may just keep voting at 1-866IDOLS13!!

15. Hey TMZ........what happened to your spy at Idol that used to let us know what the Idols would be singing and how the rehersals went. I miss those updates. Find another spy and bring it back.
