NFL Star Held After Pedestrian is Killed

Donte StallworthNFL wide receiver Donte Stallworth is being questioned by Miami Beach police after allegedly hitting a pedestrian as he was driving his Bentley earlier this morning. The unidentified victim died shortly thereafter.

Police tell TMZ they have taken blood samples from Stallworth to see if he has any drugs or alcohol in his system. It's unclear what circumstances caused the accident.

Stallworth is currently on a seven-year, $35 mil contract with the Cleveland Browns.

12. having a full time personal driver can save you from being in this situation............... i dont know the details of the victim , if they where drunk or on drugs simply walking on the traffic lanes............ regardless any sign of alcohol will change D.A. to pursue charges against anyone hitting a pedestrian ............on or off the traffic lanes.

15. Not a flattering pic of him, but we shouldn't condemn him wihtout knowing the facts. People get into car accidents every day. And if it's a DUI with the fatal consequence then you can mouth off with impunity.
