Alex Rodriguez is a liar and a cheater and he ruined the game of baseball -- but even he is allowed to sue over a real estate deal gone south.
We just turned up a lawsuit in which Alex Rodriguez sued Ryan Investments to get his $1 million deposit back on a house he was supposed to buy. A-Fraud claims he had every right to back out of the deal, since Ryan Investments didn't close the deal on time.
A-Rod and Cynthia (he was still with her when he made the deal back in November 2007) were buying the house for $15 mil -- it eventually sold to someone else a few months back for just under $12 mil.
So here's the mystery: Did A-Rod cancel because the deal didn't close on time or because his marriage was unraveling and bachelors don't need that much space?

I really like A-Rod, and I don't really have a problem with him taking steroids. It was years ago now. Anyone seen any pics of his kids of late? I would love to see them.
Does anyone at TMZ even have the slightest clue about the history of anabolic steriod use in MLB?? Anyone?? A-Rod was not violating ANY league rules when he used steriods, YEARS ago. How about picking on one of the dozens of players who used substances that were actually on the list of banned enhancement substances? The use of the banned substances would constitute cheating. But what A-Rod used was not on the banned list.
Get your facts straight, try to educate yourself about what has been happening in MLB for quite some time now, instead of jumping on the bandwagon of one guy who you probably only know about because of his association with Madonna.
Who on earth would want or need a house this size? There is nothing comfortable about that. Should be given to charity and opened as a hospital, or something much more worthy than how many times you can echo at your significant other, in hopes they would hear you.
How did he ruin the game of baseball? Because 5 years ago he did steroids? Give me a break - so many guys did steroids in baseball, you can't put that on one man. Give me a break.

TMZ really? He ruined the game of baseball? I think men like Mark and Jose, Palmero, or even Clemens runied the game. The man took the steroids, admitted to it and moved on. Not like the others mentioned who not only took them but then lied about them!
