Former Miss New Mexico USA Raelene Aguilar better put some extra Vaseline on her teeth and smile wide in court -- because she's just been charged with criminal DWI.
Aguilar was arrested earlier this month by El Paso,TX PD, after getting an F on her field sobriety test. She's now officially charged with one misdemeanor. Her first court date is April 23.
Aguilar's reign as Miss New Mexico USA ended in December, 2008.

2. I know Raelene , she is a great gal,, I was in the car with her when she was pulled over.. She wasn't drunk, she has been very sick, so she was on cold medicine..

10. Raelene is a beautiful person, both inside and out!!!!! For all of you who dont know her, its your loss! It's a shame that she is being condemned by so many people. Before they open thier big mouths they should stop and question if they ever have a drink and hope this doesnt happen to them. I have no clue if she had been drinking or not but innocent people get charged with DWI a lot and I guarantee you about 50% of the people out there could not pass a field sobriety test depending on who gives it stone sober to save their live. Try one be after being pulled over and nervous.
Why would anyone be nervous if you had not been doing anything? How often do you see them beat the hell out of people on you tube who are not doing anything and then trump up charge including the standard resisting arrest.
One of the lead stories in the news today is about a police chief who has been fired for allegedly using a tazer on his wife.
Maybe he was having a bad day?
How many people do you think have been pulled over and harassed just because of the car they drive or their race.
It has been widely reported that the number one car police pull over by leaps and bounds is a hummer.
Is that a coincidence or do they profile and have preconceived opinions about the type of people that drive such cars.
Do you notice how many unarmed black men have been shot because the police mistake a cell phone or a wallet for a gun. If you are a black male a cell phone or a wallet might look like a lot like a gun, enough to get you blown away but what is the first thing men do if pulled over? Reach for their drivers license in their wallet.
Does anyone know what she registered because a field sobriety test is often not a good measuring stick and if you think it is gather a few sober people around and see how many can pass. Then imagine them doing it under a great deal of stress.
It is stone a stone age method for people under duress and for such a serious charge.
