Golic Bites the Hand That Poorly Feeds Him

Former NFL defensive lineman Mike Golic credits NutriSystem for a 51 lb. weight loss -- but how's this for a winning endorsement: "Some of it's awful!"

Mike Golic: Click to watch
Golic is still on the company's website as a "Celebrity Success Story." We're guessing that could change shortly.

1. Wow pre-packaged diet food is awful? Who would have guessed? I've tried South Beach pre-packaged; what I had was pretty awful too. Some people say they like it, I'm thinking that their tastes buds probably died a long time ago.

2. tmz can't even get their own story straight. what a bunch of morons on at tmz. Golic was a nine-year NFL veteran, playing defensive tackle for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Dolphins not linebacker.

6. I hate this guy! After listening to him pontificate a few times, on the Mike and Mike radio show, I've decided to only watch when he is absent. He is obnoxious and full of himself, and has a whiney voice to boot LOL.

7. You know any football player that would say such a stupid thing about a product he made money promoting must be a defensive lineman.
An offensive lineman would usually know better.

9. Look at their other spokesperson Jillian Reynolds, they tout her great weight loss never mentioning she gain weight because she was pregnant. Watching Jillian on Good Day L.A. she was not overweight before she got pregnant, and was back her her pre pregnancy weight with-in one year. Somehow I don't think Jillian would have remained overweight without using this program or at least being paid to say she used it. Truth in advertising Jillian was not fat she had been pregnant!

12. He used to (and maybe still does) work for ESPN in Bristol, CT...near where I lived. One day we saw him eating out with his family-- it was hilarious! He was finishing the food from his kid's plates AND scarfed down a HUGE ice cream sundae!

So, the man likes to eat!!

13. Just eat good food, and get your a$$ to a gym. No magic diet will work to lose weight.

14. #10. AMEN! For the record Golic is really cool on the Mike and Mike so, a welcome relief from the majority of ball players turned sports expert, some of which never played the game and have no clue.
