Couple Married by Sharon Stone -- Bombs

4/29/2009 11:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Sharon StoneThe power vested in Sharon Stone wasn't strong enough to hold together the first marriage she performed back in 2004.

Almost 5 years after Stone went through the trouble of becoming a mail-order minister just so she could officiate the wedding of restaurateur Michael Bourseau and stylist Brenda Swanson -- the couple is filing for divorce.

But Sharon isn't the only celebrity to blame for jinxing the doomed ceremony -- Jack Nicholson and Robert Wagner served as witnesses.

As for the couple -- they cited irreconcilable differences. They have no kids together.

No word if Stone will perform the divorce.
