Jon & Kate Plus the Worst Kept Secret

I'm no fan of the treatment that Kate imposed on Jon. However, it appears that he broke the marriage vows. Just being in the company of a woman who is not your wife gives the appearance of wrong doing. Jon can't claim to be a good dad and walk out on his children. Period.

Heard possible she has her own show with the 1.5 million house and he has a show in New York! It's time for them to get off the damn television and get some counseling for the kid's sake. Remember they did this show for the kid's , right? Yeah, right Kate it is all for the kid's. You asked for the mess you are in but your kids didn't. I have a feeling that when they look back on all of this you will be hated by them. But then again all you really wanted was to have lots of $$$$$$ and be famous!!

They did it to themselves. Putting their lives on TV like that, you know the idiot press will follow them around. I do not feel sorry for the parents, but perhaps this show will now be CANCELED, and the kids can have some sort of a "normal" life.

I feel so bad for the kids but, I do not feel bad for Kate. It seems like she could have tried harder. If she wanted what was best for the kids she would stop the show, not worry about how much money she has, and take care of her family.

I think that Jon would be the better parent for the children to stay with. Kate just doesn't appear to be mother material. Jon is more into parenting. The show should be cancelled for at least a year and then may-b e run a one hour special. The children need time to adjust to all of this in private. If Jon has to be the one to move then he should be trying to find someplace closer than NYC. His kids need him. If everything about Kate is true, and I have seen some on video, they will need Jon even more. She is a very self centered person. She has shown that she comes before her children and that is not a good mother. TLC needs to cancel this show and protect these children. I will no longer watch ANY TLC shows nor will I buy any products that support this show.

I totally agree with #2 and #21. Where have all these other people been? Kate was so mean to Jon for so long. I feel bad but come on. Who knows who cheated if anyone. Why is everyone focusing on Jon?. He is the one who is home with the kids ALL the time while she is of getting every free bee in the world. Oh ya she is doing this for her kids. Do peeps know what Jon has really done and what a good father he really is.? How come nobody has talked about her cheating and how selfish she is to a lot of people? Oh I forgot, Kate said no way did she cheat that is unfathomable!!!!! She went from a stuffy small time girl to this BIG Glamour Queen and thinks she should be bowed down to. Jon just wanted to stay Jon and you know what I think he did stay true to who he is. How can losing your marriage be a good thing for your kids when you have brought this all on by a TV show. That's not doing what is best for your kids!!!!!!!!

I’m not shocked at this ‘announement’. I don’t blame Jon for any of his faults, I’m surpirsed his stayed this long after years of being berated, belittled & treated like crap by Kate. She is one very controlling b*tch!
I used to feel sad at the looks on the childrens faces when Kate would yell or berate at Jon in front of them.
Kate only thinks of herself & what she can profit from pimping out “their’ children.
TLC should cancel the show asap !!!

The one major thing that caught my attention on tonight's show is that kate kept referring to the children as "my" and Jon kept referring to them as "our". I think that sums up the entire marriage.

THE SHOW SHOULD NOW BE CANCELLED--IT ORIGINALLY WAS TO CHRONICLE THE LIVES OF PARENTS WITH EIGHT CHILDREN--WELL IT IS NOW OVER. THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER LET THIS SHOW GO ON FOR SO LONG. I GUESS GREED TOOK OVER--LAST YEAR JON SAID ENOUGH BUT UNFORTUNATLEY KATE DIDN'T FEEL THE SAME.

KATE ESPECIALLY--I WAS SO SHOCKED AT SOME OF THE EPISODES WHEREIN SHE BELITTLED JON AND MADE HIM LOOK LIKE NOTHING BUT A GOFER--HE IS THE FATHER OF THOSE CHILDREN AND FINALLY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS IS STANDING UP FOR HIMSELF AND NOBODY LIKE IT--TOUGH--KATE DOES WHATEVER SHE WANTS AND TRIED TO COME OUT SMELLING LIKE A ROSE BUT I CAN SEE THROUGH THAT VENEER. SHE IS A PHONE. FAME WENT TO HER HEAD AND AT ALL COSTS SHE WASN'T GOING TO LET THE SHOW GO--JON WANTED TO CANCEL LAST YEAR BUT NO KATE WAS IT IT FOREVER--AS SHE STATED THIS IS MY JOB NOW--WHAT YOUR FIRST JOB IS TO BE A GOOD MOTHER AND WIFE--YOU CAN'T DO THAT WHEN YOU COME FIRST WITH SPA APPOINTMENT AND TRAVELING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. JON GOT FED UP AND SAIDTHE HELL WITH YOU--AND WE SHOULD ALL TELL TLC THE HELL WITH THEM AND REFUSE TO WATCH ANYMORE OF THESE PHONY EPISODES--WHO CARE ANYMORE NOW THEY ARE GROWN AND THE FAMILY IS FRACTURED -- NOT GOOD TV--I WILL STICK WITH THE DUGGERS AT LEAST THEY KNOW WHERE THEIR PRIORITIES ARE.

Whoopie... I never watched a FULL episode. It's too stressful for me to watch all those kids. Everyone says Kate is a Bitch, Well,If I had 8 kids I'd be a bitch from time to time also. I'm sick of hearing about them and that Hills twit and spencer..... They make me hate my own species!

Kudos to poster number 2. They are spot on. Kate is a horrendous woman, and Jon is the lucky one to be free of her. She has emasculated and humiliated him quite enough I think. I watched only a few episodes of this show, and it was more than enough. Kate was ripping him apart for not looking like he did in high school, and taking any emasculating pot-shot that she could. Excuse me Demon Chick, have you seen YOU lately? You look NOTHING like YOU did in high school, and Jon does. So WHAT he's added on a couple pounds! He still looks fine! And what makes you think you are such a prize??? If it weren't for the mountains of plastic surgery that YOU'VE had, how would YOU look?? UGH! Good for Jon.
