Jackson Doc Declines to Chat with Cops

7/18/2009 10:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

We've learned Dr. Conrad Murray canceled an interview with the LAPD.

As we have already reported, the LAPD is treating Michael Jackson's death as a homicide. Detectives have their sights set on Murray, as the person who may have administered the drug Propofol, which we're told is the primary cause of Jackson's death.

We're told the LAPD planned a third interview with Dr. Murray earlier in the week -- the doctor was interviewed the day Jackson died and again two days later.

Reps from the L.A. County Coroner's office planned to attend the third interview, but we're told Dr. Murray's lawyer called and said the doctor would not be speaking to the cops at this time.

And here's the best part. Our sources say the cops called the lawyer back and they were referred to the lawyer's lawyer who said Dr. Murray's lawyer would not be speaking to them!

#89, you have a good point. Dr. Murray has repeatedly said that "Michael was alive and had a faint pulse" when he found him. At first he said this because he wanted to make it seem that therefore he didn't kill him and that somehow the paramedics could take responsibility. It was Dr. Murrays interest to lie and try and say that the heart was still beating until after Michael was no longer under his care. But the truth is that the paramedics on the scene say Michael was already dead when they arrived. He had no pulse and probably had none for some time. Murray wants everyone to believe that he 'found' Michael alive because of course the other two possibilities...that he found him already dead with no heart beating or that he screwed up a medical procedure with Propofol would have required him to call 911 immediately. Only by saying that Michael still had a pulse, and had shallow breathing can he claim there was a reason for him to be performing cpr on Michael.

Let's be honest though...there is no way that Dr. Murray 'found' michael in bed having shallow breathing. Who walks into a man's room when he is sleeping and examines his breathing? That's just ridiculous. If Michael had died of natural causes then the normal thing would have been for the staff to find out the next morning when Michael didn't wake up.

No, it's prettry obvious that Dr. Murray has painted himself into a corner and there's really no way out. He shoulda clammed up from day one but as is typical with people who try and lie, he's already incriminated himself. It's obvious that he screwed up in the administering of Propofol, or Michael had a bad reaction...either way Dr. Murray did not have the appropriate, skills, staff or equipment to resuscitate him because he was not in a hospital and also does not have sufficient training. What he did was not only obviously illegal it was seriously stupid. Michael also was stupid for using anesthesia in that way in the first place and also committed an illegal act for what amounts to bribing a doctor to break the law by paying him $150,000 a month. What doctor makes $150,000 a month? My family is full of doctors and doctors don't make that kind of money unless you're perhaps the top brain surgeon in the country working at a major hospital in NY or LA. Even they don't make that kind of money to be honest.

The interesting thing to see now will be if they'll be a plea or if they'll be a trial. My bet is there will be some kind of trial. Dr. Murray doesn't look like the kind of guy that's going to go down easily.

One last pointI I find interesting. The LAPD has issued several statements saying the doctor is being cooperative, has offered information, etc and that the doctor is not a suspect. This is obviously to lull him into a sense of false security so he'll blab more...and it worked. Additionally, it's curious...and incriminating that the doctor said he won't speak any more about the case until the toxicology results are reported. Obviously that's so he can tailor his story to what they find. He's keeping his fingers crossed that somehow they're not able to find Propofol in Michael's system or that they screw up in some way. If he had nothing to hide he would be open about what happened regardless of the toxicology tests becaue he'd have nothing to hide. There's no doubt this guy is guilty of sin...now what to do about it.

Put him on trial...

On an unrelated note, can anybody please let me know why ebay suspended the seller account of "bigblkproposupplyerdude" all of a sudden and halted all of the seller´s auctions for the big 5-gallon-containers of Diprivan? I was the high bidder on one of them!! On Doc Murray: What is he gonna put on his CV now? Achievements: President of Pledge class Coconut High 1971, Considered Membership Applicant by the East Nevada Fishing Association, Murdered Michael Jackson in 2009, Holder of Ralph´s rebate club membership card in Red?

So does this mean he is not going to cooperate with the LAPD in their on going investigation to pin this whole freaking fiasco on him? Boy is that a surprise.

Why did he not just man up and call the paramedics instead of waiting??? Things may have ended up differently. At this point you know he is being watched and there is nowhere for him to run. I wonder what he is taking at night to go to sleep....

If he had any once of integrity he would step forward so the process can move forward for the sake of the Jackson family. Like the saying goes, "Those that have nothing to hide, hide nothing."

He should definitely just give it up. He made a very bad decision & is eventually going to pay for it. Hopefully sooner than later.

Why did it take 30 mins before a call to 911 was made. Even if he was administering CPR, there must have been someone else present to make the call. And why did the ambulance have to turn around at the gate & back in?
