Matt Damon -- I'm Not Dead

If Matt Damon died in the treacherous mountains of Palos Verdes, it's certainly news to him.



Damon was on Letterman last night, where when asked about a ridiculous fake article that announced his death -- which INCORRECTLY cited TMZ as a source -- Matt replied, "I haven't heard, but I feel pretty good."

Not only does this tell us Matt's not dead, but it also explains the bizarre event of the stripper at George Clooney's press conference the other day. How funny to hear how that all came about!

Matt was a fantastic guest. Very comfortable and easy, he made me feel like I was in the audience and he was telling stories to a friend. Very enjoyable, he and David play well off each other.

Matt Damon proves you don't have to be "pretty" to make it in Hollywierd. He's a tremendous actor, but has one of the most unremarkable faces in the history of the entertainment industry IMO. Hell, I could throw a cat out my apartment window at any time and hit somebody better looking than him.

With that said, he seems remarkably unpretentious and full of bonohomie, so I envision him having a lengthy career. After all, it's not what you know, but who you know. He appears to be held in high regard by those around him, so that speaks volumes.
