Doctors haven't figured out exactly what's wrong with comedian Paul Rodriguez -- who's in ICU right now with severe abdominal pains.
Mario Santoya -- who works with Paul at the California Latino Water Coalition -- tells us Paul is in stable condition at George Washington University Hospital in D.C., but has been forced to take pain medication while doctors try and pinpoint the cause of his illness.
Mario says multiple tests and x-rays have been performed on Paul since he was rushed to the hospital yesterday -- but to no avail.
As we first reported, Mario found Paul -- who had been throwing up the night before -- immobilized by pain in his hotel room yesterday and was forced to call an ambulance.

He probably heard about the obama healthcare bill being attached to the tort reform bill that was already passed by congress and just needs the senate to vote it in. It made me sick to know that some a$$hole in Washington will have to 1st verify that I'm covered then assign a doctor then make an appointment then wait 2-8 months to have an initial visit then make another appoinment to have an examination then wait for that a$$hole in Washington to decide whether I should be treated by the doctor then make another appointment toapply for the pharmacy to allocate the drugs that I need... etc. Do you all understand? It's a scam to make the insurance companies richer and more powerfull. while controlling everyone through the govt. owned govt. controlled healthcare system.

Actually, I don't care for the name of the coalition but the issue is this.... water from the Sac River/Delta and other water sources use to be diverted to the farmers of the central valley. The farms in the central valley or worked by many Latinos and owned by every ethnic group. Well, because of a teeny tiny fish which is close to extinction the government stopped allowing water to be diverted for farming. Without a water source the farmers cannot water their crops...hence workers are put out of work because there is nothing to harvest. Also the toll on the farm itself, and this has cause some farms to go out of business. CA provides a large amount of produce for the entire country. Paul is trying to get the government to think of the impact on people, not just the impact on the small little fish.
