Chris Rock's rep tells TMZ a judge has just cleared the way for Rock to release his movie -- "Good Hair" -- tomorrow.
Regina Kimbell has sued Rock, claiming he ripped off her documentary, "My Nappy Roots." She went into court to get a temporary restraining order but the judge shut her down today.
So the show will go on.

Apparently Kimbell made her movie in 2005 (IMDb). I guess Oprah had no clue when she had Rock on her show promoting a his movie that he may have stolen some intellectual property from, or not stolen.Rock should make some sort of acknowledgement to this Kimbell. It is sad that Kimbell was not on Oprah first!

He has a lot of nerve going on Oprah and pretending to be some great authority regarding caucasian hair, i.e. "keeping it natural." In case most haven't taken notice, the reason why many caucasian women get their hair highlighted or bleached is the--fact--that a great percentage of us are born with black hair that turns blonde before it turns brown (if it does change) and we, actually, have multi-colors in the hair on our head. Stick to the hair texture of your own women, Chris Rock.

He's got clout, millions and expensive lawyers at his disposal. She has zilch, of course he won. Chris is a brilliant comedian, but his big feature movies really suck. He should stick to his tv show and stand up.
