New Jackson Albums in the Wings

10/13/2009 2:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

New Jackson AlbumSources who have heard the unreleased recordings of Michael Jackson say there are at least 2 albums worth of class A songs that will be released over time, and some of them are even better than "This Is It."

We're told many of the songs that will make the cut were written and recorded by Jackson after he left Sony in 2004.

As for "This Is It" -- we're told everyone involved liked the tune but it wasn't the best. As one source said, given the title and the tone, "It was the most appropriate song for the end of the movie."

I hope the songs that are coming out will be better than This Is It.
The song was a demo and MJ would have been very unhappy with its release due to his need to make it perfect.
This Is It isn't that great of a song, not one of his best

I will support as long as $ony does not release them.

They have done enough damage to Michael and his legacy already.

just an observation

radaronline just posted:

Gone -- but certainly not forgotten.

The late Michael Jackson has received five nominations for an 2009 American Music Award, including the highly-coveted Artist Of The Year.

Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Kings of Leon were also nominated for Artist of the Year.

The nominations were announced Tuesday morning at the Beverly Hills Hotel by former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, Idol runner-up Adam Lambert and Snoop Dog.

Jackson --who died June 25th of cardiac arrest at his Holmby Hills mansion--was nominated in both the Pop/Rock and the Soul/R&B categories.

In addition to being nominated for Artist Of The Year, Jackson was also nominated as Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories.

He was also nominated in both the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories for Favorite Album for Number Ones.

In all, Taylor Swift leads the nominations race this year with six total nominations, Jackson follows with five nominations, Eminem follows with four nominations and Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Kings of Leon and T.I. collected three nominations respectively.

Nominations for the 2009 American Music Awards are in eight categories: Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip Hop, Latin Music, Alternative Music, Contemporary Inspirational, and Adult Contemporary categories.

A total of 20 awards will be presented during the 2009 American Music Awards ceremony, which will air live on Sunday, November 22 on ABC.

RadarOnline.com was there when the nominations were announced and will post video shortly...

They were in it for the money

Who had these recordings? Tohme, Jerkamania, who? Sony? Why didn't they release these when Michael or if Michael was needing money so badly? I smell trouble once again. When is it going to be enough? When? His handlers couldn't help him when he needed help, now they are on the proverbial bandwagon. The one company Michael bailed out from is doing this. Get a reality check people. They never cared for Michael, but that green sure do look fine.

I can't wait. Two albums of Class A songs! But I hope that more gets released like the demos that were on the Ultimate Collection, but without all the Sony tarting up treatment that This Is It got.

i am glad that they will release a new album with all new songs. i would not bother buying a cd with the song this is it on it because the rest of the songs will be all of his old stuff & i have enough of that! in fact some of my jackson cd's repeat alot of songs. so something with all new songs is the only cd i would purchase at this time. can't wait for the movie!

Dontcha all know AEG controls about every music award show-Hello? Thats why Michael is going to be a shoo in win. It boils down to politics and who has the most marbles. AEG sure is collecting enough on their dead entertainer aren't they? Nobody else in the biz would attempt to do this. Sharks who control just about everything.
