Richard Heene was so committed to getting his own reality show, he even went so far as to come up with his theme music -- because every wacky amateur scientist/handyman needs good theme music.

Heene worked with a guy named Smokey Miles (and Meson Music BMI) to compose theme songs in 2005 for two shows Heene cooked up -- "The Psyience Detective" and "The Contractor." And they are gems!
The first, which Richard played bass on, goes a little something like this:
"When you want to learn the mysteries of how things work
Weather, the planets, the whole universe.
Tune into the show, that's really effective
Watch Richard Heene -- Science Detective!"
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we have "The Contractor":
"If you need it built or fixed,
There's just one man to pick ...
That's Richard Heene ... contractor!"
Gotta admit -- they're kinda catchy.

"Up up and away in my beautiful -- my beautiful, balloon..."
This guy is high!
People say this idiot will still get a show later because he and his family is now famous. This will never happen. This guy is too insane to be put on camera. He makes Jon Gosselin looks like Ward Cleaver.
The Psyience Detective base melody sounds like the theme song from the old Batman TV series. I smell copyright infringement.
i sort of feel sorry for them, No negative comments on this, but times are hard and they are no different than the crazy Jon and Kate, and Octomom having all of US...supporting them by people watching the stupid clothese. So, while we work everyday to pay our bills and provide for our children, Octomom is in a new home, driving a new car, nice bank account and lots of new things that we have to save for to buy. Jon and Kate, those kids are in designer clothes. They own every color of Crocs imaginable. The twins appear to be smart mouths and out of control - always taking back. They have about 2 or three cars apiece, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, a million plus dollar home, and guess what..Everyone who tunes into their crazy SH.. is providing them with unwarranted wealth that they are not worth . They wanted multile births, they should have been prepared to support multiple births...THE END
They were in it for the money:
These are songs? Hmmm....First one sounds like a cross between Lost in Space Meets Maxwell Smart(WARNING WILL ROBINSON!)-is that Yoko I hear in the background? The second one sounds too hokey for a California contractor, sounds like sumthing a farmer down in Lickskillet, Kentucky would sing. Smokey Miles, Dont quit your day job! Richard, I wouldn't let you fix my leaky hose!
whats even worse is this video and song that you KNOW Richard Heeny MADE his kids sing

Tmz is rockin out to the contractor right now yeeeehaaaaawwwww. The first song the vocals suck azz. Anyways.......Give him kudos for being creative at least. That's about it.
Both songs are cheesy as hell but they are right in league with other theme songs from the stuff they show on the Discovery Channel.
Psyience Detectives...LOL...I guess he had to settle for that since Psych is already being used by USA.
