Hunks on the Hill

Who'd You Rather?

10/21/2009 10:28 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Devout Mormon Congressman Jeff Flake (R - Arizona) is giving TMZ's favorite shirtless lawmaker Aaron Schock (R-Illinois) a run for his six-pack -- starting a new battle of the biceps on Capitol Hill.

Jeff Flake: Click to watch
The world saw Flake, 46, flex his muscles earlier this month after he embarked on a seven-day vacation on a deserted island in the Pacific -- and shared photos of his solo trip with the Washington Post (below left).

Flake & Shock

Though Flake told us yesterday in D.C. Schock, 28, would probably beat him in a bench press competition, what we really want to know is ...

I'm not even going to participate in any more TMZ votes unless TMZ finally puts in a legitimate "Neither" as one of the options always. Most of the pairings you give fall into the "Neither" category, anway.

I used to work in Illinois republican politics. Aaron is a wimp. He's a decent guy, but everyone knows he just wants to make himself feel important.

You should add a new multiple choice answer - "Neither."

Congressman Jeff Flake has that mormon look. He looks like that crazy guy thats in jail now, who was the leader of that compound in Texas.

February 19-March 20

You may have a hard time getting your point across today, especially if your boss or an important client is involved. Authority figures think they know best and just can't be told otherwise.

To clear things up...

Mormon Temple "Garments" are NOT magical, but are physical reminders of promises made to God. Similar in concept to the other religions (Catholics, Protestant Pastors, Jews, Muslims, etc, etc) that believe special religious clothing holds some spirtual significance.

Mormons don't wear temple garments during exercise, swimming, sex or doctor appointments. (That's why Flake is in his swimming trunks in his pics)

Mormons don't make "death" oaths in Temples. NOT TRUE. Mormons don't blindly "obey" a prophet. They believe in a living Prophet and can choose to follow his counsel or not.

The Book of Mormon reaffirms the truthfulness of the Bible and the divinity that Jesus is the Living Christ.

And the 2,000 wacky FLDS Polygamists out in Texas, have NO CONNECTION whatsoever to the over 14 Million Worldwide members of the Mainstream Mormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).

The Mormon Church is politically neutral, but encourage individual church members to support the political process. Even though Flake is a Republican, Sen Harry Reid in Nevada is also a Mormon and a Democrat too. There's defintiely political diversity within the Mormon Church.

Mormon's consist of several sects...
A true mormon is the very best of the best of us. It's the sects that get all the bad press and deserve it.
