With his signature bedazzled tank top and short-shorts nowhere in sight, an almost unrecognizable Richard Simmons went to a doctor's office in Santa Monica on Wednesday wearing a men's t-shirt and full length pants.

Luckily, the 61-year-old was still spotted by his frizztastic perm.

I like Richard Simmons. He has courage, stamina and a great sense of humor. He has kept his weight off for countless years and inspired many, many others to lose weight and be healthy. God bless him, whether he in shorts or long pants, he is a good, honest, sweet man and the world could use more of those!

I don't know how any self-respecting gay man can go around with that hair. He needs to go in and get it cut, styled, and colored tout de suite!
