Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and the L.A. Lakers have been sued by a company that says they all used knockoffs of their big screen in concert.

Britney, Justin, Lakers Sued

Large Audience Display Systems
claims in a federal lawsuit in Texas, obtained by TMZ, the concerts in question included a large audience display screen that was identical to their patented, gigantic monitors.

Britney uses the screen on her "Circus" tour. Justin used the monitors on his "FutureSex/LoveShow" tour.

Also sued: The Pussycat Dolls for using the screens as well.

The company wants an injunction prohibiting the defendants from using knockoffs in the future, as well as unspecified damages.

Star Wars in Concert ( http://www.starwarsinconcert.com/ ) also uses HiDef flat screen presentation that is nearly as large as an IMAX screen. Wonder if they intend to sue George too?

i dont think the hidef flat screens are the same as what they are sueing for. i work as a roadie and have set up britneys circus tour so im pretty positive i know which screen is the problem, and its not like a screen like a sheet like imax, so i do not think what ur thinkin of with starwars counts.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the comparison of panasonic with sony with the same channel.

If the screen is patented and another company violates that patent, wouldn't it make sense to go for the company who is violating the patent(s) and not the artists.

Or am I wrong here?
