Candy Spelling Slave Driver Suit Settled

Candy Spelling Candy Spelling has settled up with her ex-maid.

You'll recall -- and we'll never forget -- Tori Spelling's mom was sued by Lourdes Serrano, who claimed, among other things, Candy was a tightwad boss, making her clock out for 10-minute breaks twice a day and not paying the downtime.

We just got legal docs showing the case settled last Tuesday. The terms are confidential. We're told the maid got chump change -- but someone in Candy's camp said, "Maybe in maid money it's a lot."

Candy Spelling is a Crazy, neurotic Rich woman...That's the talk all over town.... It's sad how having lots of money can keep people so mentally ill...

3.

"maybe in maid money its a lot of money" really so maids aren't justified to have enough money I'm a cleaning lady and make darn good money thank you well much. wow how arrogant. They should have said "no comment"

4.

I never thought I'd care enough to leave a comment on this woman, but Tori was a smart woman when she distanced herself and her little family from her crazy, toxic mother.

As the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Cheap boss, makes her clock out for breaks? IS there not a law in CA about breaks within an employment period???!

"Candy" Spelling is an abomonation. Nice name! Couldn't she leave her stripper name @ the bar that Aaron picked her up in?

It's funny, all these society types (or, at least those who fancy themselves as same) and strippers like to use the same types of names. Muffy, buffy, candy, sianna, etc etc. Guess it really isn't a leap; most of these "ladies" are second or third wives of very rich men. Guess they all get their start in the same place - strip clubs!!

And the "maid money" comment is just ignorant. In fact, it is down right reminiscent of Mrs Bush Sr's comments after Hurricane Katrina. C'mon Ammericuns! Please do better!@

The Dept of Labor should have been involved in this; it is ILLEGAL not to provide two PAID 10 minute breaks during an 8 hr day with an unpaid 30-minute lunch/break. Candy Spelling is a criminal slave driver and a POS, but that's the problem with many employers these days - they force employees to accept sub-par treatment with no health care and pitiful wages, and because they need a job they accept this. Someone needs to take severe legal action against Candy Spelling & the rest of 'em who think they can treat their employees so despicably; they are breaking the law not to mention amoral behavior. But then money makes all problems “go away” in this country, and they use capitalism as an excuse… “but my profits will decrease if I pay employees’ health care and fair wages.”
