Sources tell TMZ the L.A. County District Attorney's Office has a criminal complaint drafted and ready to file against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson.
We're told it's now just a matter of timing before Dr. Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter -- a felony that carries a maximum 4-year prison sentence.
As we first reported, Dr. Murray plans on surrendering today, so all signs point to the D.A. filing criminal charges as early as this morning.
Dr. Murray is in Los Angeles and his legal team is already mapping out strategy.

A maximum of 4 years in prison? Either way there will be no justice. I don't believe Murray is an evil dude but the guy was GROSSLY negligent and then tried to cover up his mistakes instead of focusing on helping his patient. In all likelihood Michael was dead before 911 was ever called. Hopefully at least the truth will come out at trial.

He'll lose his medical license. He'll serve his 4 years. He'll get out, do interviews, write a book, make millions on the publicity, and retire somewhere in the islands.

Well, I wonder if IM is the ONLY charge that will be brought against him. Also, if LAPD is the ONLY agency that will bring charges? Then there is civil lawsuit (which Joe is ramping up on) and I am sure the Estate would be looking into something. Then there is a case on behalf of the children, I'm sure their attorneys are looking at it. Needless to say, he won't be skipping off to the beach with a pina colada anytime soon.
He really should have tried harder at selling that energy drink in Las Vegas instead of striking it rich fast. Never works!

A maximum of 4 years????? For killing Michael Jackson - that's like a slap on the wrist - this Dr. should have his medical license revoked and spend a minimum of 25 years in prison with no parole - That's like a minor infraction because of his stupidity!

I watched the "This is It" DVD again tonight - what an amazing human being, entertainer, accomplished dancer and singer Michael was - and he had so much love in his heart for the earth and all humanity - He gave us a great gift with his talent and Dr. Death took it away ......
