Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) is a disease in which individuals who have not recently been hospitalized develop an infection of the lungs (pneumonia). CAP is a common illness and can affect people of all ages. CAP often causes problems like difficulty in breathing, fever, chest pains, and a cough. CAP occurs because the areas of the lung which absorb oxygen (alveoli) from the atmosphere become filled with fluid and cannot work effectively.

CAP occurs throughout the world and is a leading cause of illness and death. Causes of CAP include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. CAP can be diagnosed by symptoms and physical examination alone, though x-rays, examination of the sputum, and other tests are often used. Individuals with CAP sometimes require treatment in a hospital. CAP is primarily treated with antibiotic medication. Some forms of CAP can be prevented by vaccination.[1]

When I look at that weird looking dude she was with...the first thing that pops in my mind is DRUG SEALER and SUPLIER for some strange reason...especially since he almost died himself and they brought him back to life...maybe that's why he didn't want an autopsy done.

As far as I can tell from reading "community acquired pneumonia" is what we older people ;-) called just plain Pneumonia. They have updated names, including walking pneumonia (you don't know you are as sick as you are and can continue to function). There are also pneumonias you get from being in the hospital from laying down in a weakened state. So unless I am corrected, this is what we normally refer to as "pneumonia"

How very sad. What a waste. Her family had great wealth but what good is wealth when you don't have health? Salud, dinero, y amor!

Hi Melissa. In California, our Gov. funding for these programs has been SLASHED! Of course, no one cares when a poor drug addict dies. But when a someone rich dies, it's considered a tragedy. It's easy to forget, though, that the rich drug addicts are only rich for so long, some of them die poor before overdosing.

But didn't her greasy hubby and crazy mom SWEAR she wasn't a drug user?? Gasp! I guess they were wrong, just like everyone said.

Well if she was run down by anemia and pneumonia, the body could not process the drugs on board. I've been severely anemic before, it kicks you in the a$$ for sure. Didn't they say she had "female problems" too? That is what caused mine.
