'American Chopper' -- It's Over!

2/6/2010 3:02 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

American Chopper"American Chopper" is ending its run on TLC and the crazy Teutul family will ride their bikes off into the sunset.

This Thursday's episode will be the series finale of the show. A rep for TLC tells us, "The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run."

The move is not entirely unexpected -- as we reported in December, Paul Teutul, Sr. is suing his son Paul over the family business, Orange County Choppers.

The last episode airs February 11 at 9:00 PM.

'Bout time! all their bikes were cookie cutters the last couple of years. The old man is an obstinate fat head. Hope the kid makes out.

Senior needs to man up and get his family in order because when all is said and done the only thing that mattes in this life is family and friends. I feel for the folks who will lose their jobs due to the inevitable fall of Orange County Choppers. Realistically, is there anyone out there who would prefer an Orange County "custom" chopper to a stock Harley? I didn't think so.

Another family bites the dust in the reality show curse, TLC is the worst offender in it all. The Rolloff's will be the next ones torn apart.

If it wasn't for Jr, Paul Sr. would have nothing! Jr. designed and built all those bikes in the beginnig and made OCC!

Paul Sr. -- couldn't stand the man. Classless and clueless. He has two very nice sons and does not know it. His mouth is his biggest problem.

It`s definitely time to call it quits for this show. It was ok in the beginning, but money got to their heads. Paul Sr is just such a highstrung, abrasive, loose cannon so it`s laughable, he`d definitely have an adaption problem in the real work world for sure. The end of this show will probably be it for these guys, they`ll probably just slide back into the obscurity they emerged from.

End of story.

as a diehard viewer im sad to see it end. i enjoyed watching it every week. one thing paul sr. better face is his son paul jr. and rick did most if not all of the work and then paul sr. rides the bike in to whatever event it was for. most of the time he could not even explain anything about the bike. should of been paul jr, rick, vinnie, christian going to the events. mikey had no business going there he did nothing at all !!! hope jr. wins his court battle with mr."ego" and remember this paul sr. noone watched the show becuase of you, most turned it off because of you !!!!

I'm glad the show is ending, it sucks. Sr. is uninteresting and the shows a borefest without Jr. and Mike.
