Kid Rock to Judge: Don't Hold Me Against Me

2/8/2010 5:55 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Kid Rock Kid Rock's got a bad reputation and he knows it -- which is why he wants to put the kibosh on any mention of his previous bad behavior during his current court case.

Rock filed documents in L.A. County Superior Court on Friday in connection to a lawsuit filed against him by three guys who claim Rock and six members of the Boo-Yaa Tribe beat the hell out of them at the Roosevelt Hotel back in 2006.

In the documents, Rock -- real name Robert Ritchie -- asks that his "reputation as a 'tough guy' or 'thug' by means of his professional persona as 'Kid Rock'" not be used against him during the case.

Rock also wants no mention of his "prior criminal arrest or misdemeanor convictions" during the case as well ... calling them irrelevant and prejudicial.

We'll see how that goes.

You might take a look at Pamela without her make up on... Course, that's most ladies... Ole Moe from the Three Stooges said it best "Yaaaaaaaaaa"!

On second thought, he needs to be over in Tiptonville updating a few Carl Perkins songs...

Why the Rock isn't in Paris is beyond me or over in Hickman bottoms. He could be working in a sausage factory with HANK jr.

Wouldn't that be an interesting place to make up songs from.

Let me just saw one thing to the person that wants Kid Rock out of Nashville, TN. If you don't like him here, I'm sorry, but why don't you move out of Nashville? I bet you there are more people that rather have Kid Rock in Nashville then you.

Regarding Kid Rock being in trouble with the law? I have a feeling we all have been in trouble growing up but have reached the age (40's)and started to mature and start acting right. It sounds like to me Kid is maturing and changing his ways and if you would really listen to the Born Free CD when Andy **** is finished with it you will realize this. I think if Kid would find him a good, responsible, mature and smart women that will take care of him, be by his side, and stand behind him 100% no matter what he has done or do, he will live a long time. I don't think the women after him is anything like that based on what I have read in his community website.

I know in my heart that Kid Rock is a good person and I pray for him and his band nightly. Do you ever think about the risk he is putting his life and staff in when he is traveling to put on concerts? I work in Nashville and pray for the day I can meet Kid Rock and tell him we appreciate everything he does for Nashville and everyone else.

To the girl that tried to set him up? Shame on you! You will have to answer to the man upstairs for that one. If Kid is stuck up it maybe because he don't know if people are out to sue him or if they just want to meet him.

Kid please don't move to Paris or any where in West TN. I grew up there and it is really boring there. Kid if you are reading this and you ever need a friend, you can always call on me. I support you 100% in whatever you do or have done, it is just part of life. Be careful out there, there is alot of people that are just damn right mean and want to hurt anyone they can. As far as your greasy hair? Don't change it! God Bless You and Your Staff!
