Shakira USED to be on a higher level, but now there's not much separating her from the rest of the pack. If you go back and look at her earlier, Spanish-language work, and even her earlier English stuff, she has changed and not for the better, in my opinion.

I do not remember when female singers wore pants.
Dresses slit up to where it didn't matter if they were wearing dresses or not; and then they'd rip 'em off at the high point, or the climax, but no. No pants. Never.
What alternate pop universe have you been listening to back-tracks over?
