Designer and "Project Runway" judge Michael Kors made a bold fashion statement in St. Bart's on Wednesday ... by showing off his huge outie belly button.
The 50-year-old really knows how to accessorize a look.

It appears from pic that PROJECT RUNWAY judge has at least ONE obvious & potential risky post-op comp if he were able to get a surgical repair of his U.I. â heâs about 50 pounds morbidly overweight.
More to the point, wouldnât ya think a completive media-savvy guy whose biz is allaâbout image, LOOKINâ HOT AND LOOKING GOOD - WOULDNâT AT LEAST HAVE THE INCLINATION (?) TO CONCEAL & COVER UP HIS (ADMITTEDLY HIDEOUS LOOKING) U.I?
or else, why doesnât Michael Kors, the FAMOUS clothing designer design a swim suit for men who have this condition? duh.
MIKE, YOU ARE NOT A MEDICAL IGNORAMUS, ARE YOU? âLOOKS LIKE A GUN SHOT WOUND.â
Didnât you READ THE VIEWERS POST on this pic before you mouthed off ? There are viewersâ who immediately recognized & told you folks that its an umbilical hernia â nota outie bb. (The academic equivalent of not doing your homework on daily basis before classâ¦)
MIKEY: hereâs the 4- 1- -1 on I.E. beware mikey the way you own âKevin Smith in denial âweight gains are ballooning kiddoe, youâre a candidate for this and other self-induced morbid obesity conditions. Are you waiting-weighting for when your wife gives birth and you weigh almost 400lbs! (And canât even lift your infant or stand long enough to change diaper?)
AN U.I. IS PAINFUL CONDITION â AND UMBILICAL HERNIA CAN BE A POTENTIALLY FATAL MEDICAL CONDITION. For example, 80% of resistance training must not be done when a person has a surgically unrepaired â OR UN-RERPAIRABLE â U.I. Crunches are not Rx!
EVERYONE with a U.I always is at risk for PERITONITIS (rupture of large intestine colon, etc)
While there is there is a surgical fix> under full anesthesia, opening up the abdomen, sewing a flap/ patch to apply pressure to push the u..i. back inside & under the sub-cutanious layers of belly skin.
BUT SURGICAL REPAIR OF AN U.I IS A SEMI-RISKY OPERATION., ESPECIALLY POST -OP THE FLAP CAN RUPTURE, PULLING AWAY MORE INTACT SKIN & TISSUE. Always a surgeon wants to be to predict & expect a âbest practicesâ outcome with this type of surgery.
At least the reasonable expectation of good outcome of 90% - 95%. Often, this is not possible, due co-morbidity where a U.I, is not the primary presenting complaint. Often the key individual physiological fact cautioning against surgical repair is DUE TO OBESITY or other secondary & collateral medical conditions are present to mitigate surgery.
Then too, a flap can break 2-3 years after surgical repair even after judicious weighing the risks from short term & long term post-op complications.
Thats not a belly button...
Its Jon Gosselins' penis....
Seriously it looks like a hernia to me, but if its not bothering him leave it alone. Gesh....its not like any of you have to live with the man and look at it all the time.
I shan't look upon that monstrosity again! It's just too much. My mum always told me, "you mustn't show all your 'thangs'" in public (whatever that means)! The old lady knew of what she spoke... I still miss the old bat, I mean mum....
That is seriously wrong. Just goes to show how much style and fashion sense these people really have. Just have it fixed dude, no one wants to see this.
That thing has it's own personality and zip code. He could stand at the Mexican border and his navel would return to the USA two mintues before the rest of him.
The turkey is done dude, you can take it out of the oven now.
