'Big Brother' --

2nd Star

Accused in Drug Ring

4/27/2010 6:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

A former "Big Brother Season 9" contestant has just been arrested for conspiracy to distribute oxycodone -- and authorities believe he was in cahoots with another "BB9" housemate ... the guy who won the show.

Matthew McDonald (left) was indicted in federal court in Massachusetts today for allegedly participating in a drug ring run by "Big Brother" Season 9 winner Adam Jasinski (right).  According to the indictment, McDonald was involved in the alleged drug ring from April 2008 to October 2009.

McDonald and Jasinski were allies inside the "Big Brother" house during most of Season 9 -- which ran from February 2008 through April 2008.

As we previously reported, Jasinski was arrested in October 2009 after cops say he used his $500,000 Big Brother winnings to fund a large oxycodone distribution ring.

As for McDonald -- it's the third major criminal charge levied against him this month. Matthew is accused of beating his pregnant girlfriend and then attempting to intimidate her into dropping the charges.

If convicted of the drug charge, McDonald faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

This is B.S. This 'girlfriend' is gonna accuse him of having the Lindburgh Baby next. And no way is that Matty on the other end of the phone call from before. It doesn't sound anything like him.

I thought Adam was giving his money to children with autism or some other development challenge. That why they all voted for him instead of Ryan. Wow - a drug ring instead. What an idiot!!

what? a wife can't be forced to testify against her husband but she sure as heck can do it of her own free will? fifth amendment? Wives testify against their husbands all the time and the fifth amendment is against SELF incrimination and has absolutely nothing to do with not being allowed or choosing not to testify against anybody. if he tried to intimidate her into not testifying then she obviously intends to proceed and would hopefully choose to do the same even if they were married. Her smartest move would be a restraining order and to get as far away from him as fast as she can.

That's not Matt in the phone call. That dude has a lower voice than Matty. They have a similar accent, but the tone of the voice is totally different.

Go listen to clips of the show from youtube - that's definitely NOT him.. sorry.

#26 - How do you know its not Matt on the phone? People disguise their voice all the time, especially if they are making a drug deal and their call could be tapped. It tricked you, didn't it? Why do you call him Matty? That's something I would call my bird!

I wonder if any of you remember Adam talked about using drugs in the present tense during big brother. I thought he was so stupid. Also thought that big brother should have kicked him out of the house after he said it. He should not have been allowed to win. I had live feed so it might have happened there.

Can we get oxycondone banned in the USA anytime soon??? I mean ENOUGH already with this garbage ruining lives in more ways than one.

Yeah Carrie, I remember. I thought he was an idiot too, and now we have proof. Matt is a tool as well. What a couple of losers. Good riddance to them both.
