Heather Locklear Case Going To The DA

4/27/2010 8:05 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0421_heather_locklear_EX3TMZ has learned Heather Locklear's alleged hit-and-run incident is going to the Ventura County District Attorney's office tomorrow.

The sheriff's department says it's ready to send its file on the misdemeanor hit-and-run case to the DA.

Heather was cited earlier this month after she allegedly hit a "no parking" sign near her home.

We're told the DA will decide whether to charge Heather within a week.

Sources tell us it will be difficult to charge her since authorities can't place Heather behind the wheel of the car.

Most ridiculous case ever. She's one bad butt for hitting that sign in the middle of the night and then not reporting it right away. That is IF SHE HIT THE SIGN and it wasn't the OTHER BMW that resides in her neighborhood with the same damage to it's right front fender. What a load of BS!

***Ooooo. Heather Locklear might have hit a sign in the middle of the very dark night. Throw the book at her! (Give us all a break and stop wasting taxpayer dollars, instead, please.) Team Heather!***

Do California cops really have this much time on their hands? Does the DA have nothing better to do? Does anyone think for one second that the cops would give a rat's behind if it wasn't someone famous? Talk about unequal treatment.

Good to see Balls drop by for a quick comment. Has anyone seen Krazy Kooky Clown? I'd like to get his take on this.

If this goes any further than the garbage can, it's a waste of taxpayer money.

It was a sign for God's sake. You can't even prove it was her.

I've no doubt this woman who has had numerous bouts with heavy drinking, certainly got away with a DUI. The evidence is much too weak to have charges brought up. Hopefully this will be another in the line of many wake up calls, to at least take a cab or call a sober friend or family member. Crashing into non organic object is one thing, hitting humans is another. She should consider herself lucky.

I AM SICK AND TIRED OF "JOCK SNIFFING" CELEBRITIES BY PUBLIC OFFICIALS. THE DA... FOR HITTING A SIGN? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING.

Bet the DA doesn't see someone who works a NAPA ... for hitting a road sign!!!

Just because you were once hot, doesn't mean you can do whatever the hell you want. Settle down, has-been.

i keeps it real

I like her and all but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Indtead of a sign it could have been some teens, or a couple walking or a kid...your kid!

I am sick of her arse getting behind the wheel high or drunk.

For all of you defending her...think..what if one of your loved ones was mowed down by some hugh celeb? Dont bother commneting about the time of day. She did it in the day also and people take walks at night.

Think carefully!
