Charlie Sheen, Warner Bros. Not Negotiating

5/3/2010 6:13 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. have not been negotiating for his return to "Two and a Half Men" -- contrary to several reports ... but sources on both sides are telling us they believe a deal will eventually be made.

There are reports out that the parties are close to making a deal. Not true.  As we first reported, Warner Bros. offered Charlie $1 mil an episode but Charlie wants $1.5 mil. Neither side has gone back with a counteroffer.

Both sides tell TMZ they believe the deal will be made either on May 18 or early in the morning on May 19. CBS announces its fall schedule on May 19 and the network wants to know Charlie is on board before committing.

Sources on both sides continue to tell TMZ they believe the deal will be made for around $1.3 mil an episode.

Kill him off. Have the will read that Berta gets the house but Alan must always live there. Maybe Rose could show up knocked up and claim it's Charlies. Herb and Judith could get a divorce and he could move in too.

Hmmm, if he filed for divorce, wouldn't it be better not to have a deal until the divorce papers are signed - so the income isn't part of any settlement??

Is that even a Top 5 show? Or Top 10? Are they SERIOUS?! Puh-leeze! The only reason why that crappy show is still on is because idiots keep watching it. Stop the madness already, people.

I would like to know how much CBS makes? I think the show is very funny, but it's not a one character show.

How is it that people can make so much money today and not be happy with what they have. There are people out of work here and would just love to have any kind of job and make any kind of money. You should be ashamed of your self. I also must say i love two and a half men.

It just disgusts me that a network would not only condone his behavior but REWARD it with such a salary.

22 episodes at 1.3 mil an episode. You could give 572 people 50 grand apiece for that. About time Hollywood looks at reality.

Charlie Sheen for crying out loud, in this economy $1 million is a big deal. You don't need the money but your fellow actors do and besides, being on the show keeps you alive and out of trouble. The show keeps you from drinking yourself do death or overdosing on drugs.

I stop watching a show whenever an already overpaid actor/actress starts threatening to leave if they don't get an even more outrageous salary.

Being unemployed for most of the last year and a half, I have no sympathy for these spoiled Hollywood brats.
