Beresford-Redman's Sister -- Gun Allegation

5/30/2010 11:12 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has learned the former sister-in-law of "Survivor" producer Bruce Beresford-Redman claims Bruce's dad allegedly went to her restaurant last night ... she believes with a gun.

Sources tell TMZ Carla Ferreira-Burgos was at the restaurant Zabumba at around 10:00 PM preparing food for today's memorial when David Beresford-Redman allegedly came inside.

One source says David ominously had his hand in his pocket. Another source is more specific and says people in the restaurant saw signs of a gun. We're told David left without incident.

We're also told she claims to have filed a police report.

We contacted David today, but he had no comment.

Richard Hirsch, Bruce's lawyer, tells TMZ, "That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I have spent hours with this man and he is one of the most gentle people I have ever met."

Are you sure?

Why would the murder's father show up at the victim's families restaurant? Not to mention, while the two families are fighting for custody of the children?

If my sister was murdered and dumped in a sewer I would be very dramatic....Shoot the old bastard if he is intimidating you but go to Mexico first, you'll be scott free.

Yes we would all be very upset if it were our sister but wow in Mexico there is a murder every 5 mins so how can you just blame the husband could have been lots of other crazy people there his affair wasnt a secret so why would he do it it was out in the open

@TIV: It is easy to answer your question Tiv. The body of the victim had various wounds on it, reportedly--and likewise, the husband of the victim had matching wounds on his body. He was in a fight with his wife just prior to her disappearance, also a fact. He was cheating on his wife with another woman, and the couple's relationship was in flux, and perhaps headed for divorce. Next, she just up and disappears, and her husband is the last known person to see her alive, and again, he has wounds on his body from a fight, wounds that correspond exactly to the wounds that the dead victim sustained during the violent assault which took her life? She wasn't raped, or robbed? She was not kidnapped for ransom? The only theory of motive...as pulled from the evidence at the scene of the crime, points to the husband as the murderer--backed by the timely defensive and offensive wounds (inflicted) on both persons' bodies; one living...and one dead. This isn't a case of mere cir***stantial evidence, this is a case of hard evidence...clearly pointing to the husband as the perpetrator of the crime (with evidence that he was helped to cover his crime and flee, by others, after the fact). There is a small timeline here, and coincidence, and location don't make for a good defense when the defendant has been evasive at best, in terms of cooperating with the investigation, and has now fled. If your spouse was murdered by someone, and you didn't do it, nor were you accused, I think you'd be more than willing to stay in a location as requested by police (in this case Mexico) to help find the person, or persons, responsible for the murder of your loved one...in order to see justice done? In a court of law, juries can consider evidence of flight, or the attempt to flee prosecutions, as "consciousness of guilt". Case closed. As for the few individuals who are willfully ignoring the evidence, like Jessica, and blaming the victim's family for fighting for justice, shame on you!!! That old man was there at the restaurant to harass and threaten, and the victim's family should demand an immediate restraining older against Bruce's family, and affiliates, including against Bruce himself. Then there can be no more, so-called, misunderstandings. If Bruce's father, et al, attempts to make contact with the victim's family again, or approach their places of business or living, etc., we will all be clear that his purpose in being there is not a lawful or friendly one, indeed--no excuses.

BTW: "Witness Intimidation" is illegal under the law. Both Bruce and his father should be going to prison.

Thank You number 56 Zip for breaking down the facts of the case for all the people who say that he is innocent. Argue the facts, there is as much or more evidence in this case as in OJ SIMpsons slaying or Scott Peterson's killing of his wife. All of Bruce's friends and family who are attacking the victims should be ashamed of themselves. They should be explaining how about 20 different pieces of evidence point to only one suspect.People kill people everyday and all their friends usually say that they were a great guy before they snapped. Thanks again Zip I guess this was all a coincidence, Bruce wanted Monica dead and she turns up dead 70 yards from his room after a arguement where witnesses heard her screaming for help. Two days later "my wife went shopping and never came back"

the sister is way too paranoid and wants her 5 minutes out of this. It's a horrible thing that has happened but trying to be in the spot light for every little thing and comment on every little move remand and his family makes is being a wee bit dramatic.

Yep I said that

Well Zip #56 if as you say all this "hard" evidence was available it seems like the Mexican authorities should have arrested him the same day, but they let him roam around free for a couple of weeks.

Ohlalalala - how funny - every little thing? What possible reason did David have to go to the restaurant other than to create problems. Hate to break it to you but if a family member of yours was murdered and the accused's father came to you I doubt you would be taking things too lightly. Probably scared the hell out of her.
You all are so removed from reality.
