Vanilla Ice

I'm Going to Gary Coleman's Memorial

5/29/2010 4:05 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has learned Vanilla Ice is committed to attending Gary Coleman's upcoming memorial service -- which begs the obvious question ... why?

Turns out Vanilla and Gary hit it off when Coleman guest starred on an episode of "The Surreal Life" back in 2004 ... despite the fact that they got into an epic war on the show because Gary wouldn't say, "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

Vanilla -- aka Robert Van Winkle -- tells us, "I'll always remember the time he and I had. He was fun to be around for the most part. Just a good, funny guy."

He adds, "It's almost a Catch-22. He's had such a bad luck life ... I hope he's in a better place."

No memorial date has been set as of yet -- but Vanilla says "of course" he'll attend.

Gary Coleman was a douchebag too! He was always talking crap, whining or punching a retail clerk in the face. His tombstone should say "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout Willis" because that is the only thing he was famous for! RIP you little jerk!

VI is only out for personal gain...everything is a publicity stunt...WAWAWA...just like he went to the funeral of Tammy Faye...he has his goof troop in palm beach county fixing up his new flip this house, so he can get it done for free, move in cheap, and let his upside down house get foreclosed on....these cling-ons think they will be famous~~

According to the report, Shannon told officers that the two had been in bed ... when she asked Gary to go downstairs and fix her some food. Shannon claimed Gary fell shortly after leaving the room. However in the 911 call, she said he just got home. Whenever trauma and domestic violence is involved the cause of death should always be investigated by police(that's law). Also in 2008 on Divorce Court video, she stated she always had good health. This was when they were talking about having a baby, but now she's sickly, seizes, in a wheelchair and needs throw up bin. If Shannon wasn't spending all Gary's money in Las Vegas being pampered she would have money for his funeral. Police need to do their job. I wonder why their not. Utah this is 2010 not 1950.

Is the writer of that article just trying to make poor Gary spin in his grave (even though he doesn't have one)??!
Thomas (whatever his real last name is) aka (doesn't even like to be called) Vanilla Ice anymore!!! I'm sure he's not going to the memorial, because the only thing they did agree on during the Reality Show was that neither of them wanted to be haunted by their former images, or catch phrazes.
The **** Thomas pulled on poor little Gary was horrifying & insane! It's been made obvious that Gary was not much on forgiveness, & what Thomas did was,...in MY opinion as a viewer,...unforgiveable!!

I can't believe anyone would keep Gary's parents out of the memorial service, or refuse to turn his body over to them for a family burial.
I'm sure Gary is in a better place now, & that he would be more forgiving toward his family, than anyone else.
For shame, people!
