Pointer Sister Set for 'Celebrity Rehab'

Technically Bonnie has not been a member of The Pointer Sisters in several decades. She left for a solo career as the rest of the group were moving in a R&B/Pop direction . She had a semi-successful career until she seemed to disappear - until now. Sadly, she's not the only member of the group to have had drug problems.

Is "celebrity" rehab really an appropriate title? Shouldnt it be more like bottom of the barrel,not really famous rehab??

So when does someone from the American Medical Association put out an opinion declaring Dr. Drew's intentions are questionable? At first this show got postponed because it was reported thay they couldn't find popular enough celebrities. The idea of making the first few folks who signed up wait for treatment until bigger stars could be found is just despicable. I would imagine the show could have started production if the good doctor had waived his "fee". I'm sure he has made plenty of money off of desperate celebrity wanna-bees. He is always making statements about how he just wants to help others. Guess he should have clarified those statements a little and added that he meant those who meet a certain celebrity criteria.

Gotta love the irony that Lindsay Lohan was offered $1,000,000 and she turned it down. She's even able to detect this train wreck of a show is bad for her career. Also, they offered Liza Minelli half that amount and I believe she told them to stuff it but maybe because she wanted more $$.. LOL.
