Sure are throwing the terms "celebrity" and "star" around pretty loosely out there in hollyweird.

I have to giggle when people try and slam Dr.Drew for putting this show out there... If you think his whole career is based on putting 8-10 (celebrities)people a year thru treatment on tv you need to get smacked with the reality stick. We never hear about the hundreds of "regular" people he treats because that doesn't sell advertising! and just how many have tuned in to this show or Sober House and said to themselves WOW I may not be a celebrity but thats exactly how I feel and have gotten sober and stayed sober. better yet people only focus on the ones who relapse because their antics make the news, never the ones who stay sober from these shows....yes thats right there are people that go on these shows that STAY SOBER!! how 'bout that c'mon Harvey how about a feel good story on one of them....

Bonnie is a FORMER member of "The Pointer Sisters". Bonnie left the group in 1976 and shortly thereafter the last group album she appeared on was released in 1977. As a longtime fan of "The Pointer Sisters", I'm unhappy about her reported appearance on this show.

WoW & WoW. It's about time Bonnie got help with her drug & alcohol problem but unfortunately she is probably just doing the show for the money. She may want to squeeze back into the music industry but she should have done that a long time ago. Just maybe though this will get her head clear.

PS pc, why would you be unhappy about her appearance on the show? could be a good thing... she's be an addict for decades.

Bonnie has decided since she is getting back into the music business that she needs time to focus so she can perform to her fullest. With the recent loss of her sister June, Bonnie has been  very motivated to get healthy and perform. She is set to release her first single "Like a Picasso"  on her 3 song ep to be released June 29th with another hit " EYES DONT LIE" (produced by WONDERLAND) and the timeless hit record "The Strangest Day". This album has a mainstream dance/ pop feel to connect with audiences of all ages.  Soon after the 3 song ep release, the album "Like a picasso" is coming with collaborations accompanying Qwes Kross of 50/50 KONVICT MUZIK. Bonnie will be collaborating with T-Lopez of Cash Money Records   "Like a Picasso" will be available for download June 29th through Platinum Trini Entertainment/ UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP and INGROOVES.

I'll be watching for sure. She is a great talent who has battled these demons all her life. I hope Dr. Drew helps her out. Amazing how people are so cruel. I can't believe the mean spirited comments on this story and her pic....C'mon ya'll...She's someone's daughter, friend, sister, aunt.

She used to live in my fathers studio on our property a year ago! My dad "Mick Tani" was in a band with her in the 60's. She's a character, def needs to be on t.v., crazy ass lady. Her sister Anita is the only "normal" one. I remember jamming at like 2am and her singing her heart out and scatting, very impressive for a crackhead!
