New Michael Jackson Video Game for Xmas

6/14/2010 9:30 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson is still on the cutting edge of technology -- TMZ has learned the King of Pop is set to star in a new revolutionary video game ... and the people in charge of MJ's estate are totally on board.

0614_jackson_ubisoft_EX_TMZ

The game -- currently untitled -- will essentially be "dance karaoke" ... which means gamers will see Michael Jackson dancing on screen and will then be challenged to imitate his moves.

The game will be available on multiple platforms including Wii and Xbox 360. The Xbox version will incorporate Microsoft's new Kinect motion capture technology -- which will allow the gamer to play without holding a controller.

Also in the Xbox version, the gamer will be judged based on full body movements. The game will process the movements and display the gamer's avatar on screen ... dancing right next to MJ.

And there's more -- the game also includes a karaoke feature, in which gamers can sing MJ songs like "Billie Jean" ... and even mess around with their voice thanks to an autotune feature.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft -- the same people behind Assassin's Creed and Ghost Recon -- and we're told Ubisoft properly secured permission from the MJ estate ... so it's all legit.

The game is scheduled to hit shelves sometime before Christmas.

125. anyone can change thier looks with plastic surgery. but NOT as dramatically as MICHAELS looks changed. the media, snedden, and rwo greedy families, ruined Michaels life and reputation, they ransacked, destroyed and stole from neverland. and Michael was told by his attorney that the extortion would never stop. no human being could continue to go through the hell these purely EVIL, GREEDY people put Michael through. he could no longer entertain children and thier families, they destroyed neverland his beloved home, and besmirched his spotless reputation. the only thing left for him to do is die. you can be sure Michael is living in a foreighn country as someone else. and i'am so angry about this i could scream. he is a beloved, kind and caring soul. and it brings such tears and pain to my heart what he went through, that sometimes i can hardly breathe. but knowing what i know about GOD, i pray for him each day. and i will never stop praying for his good health his happiness, and that he wont be lonely. he is'nt likely to have complete happiness because his heart is saddened and broken, because of the evil unconscienceable, greed of others. but i have this strange sensation for lack of a better word that when the world sees Michael again they will be delightly schocked. all those except those who went out of thier way to harm him. OUR BELOVED MICHAEL YOU ARE TRULY LOVED AND MISSED......WISDOM

Some think the 50's was a much more moral age but it wasn't, it was just that dirty laundry didn't get put out for everyone to see back then. Presidents were still nutty sex fiends, or what have you, and rock stars did a lot of drugs and did other naughty things. Jacksons personal life has been put out for everyone to see over the years, so the judgemental brigade have come out to play, when they really have no right to do so. I'm sure what they do in their personal life ain't all that great.

As for diddling children. Some think he got off (no pun intended) because he was a celebrity, but one should look up the McMartin case. The truth of the matter is the evidence didn't hold up under scrutiny, and the jury made the right decision because convicting a man of such a crime without hard evidence would be absurd. The "he said, she said" evidence isn't evidence, it's hearsay.

13. For those who mocked MJ, he did the most brilliant move of all time. Genius!! Now will he emerge or stay behind the scenes?

I don't believe that he faked his death, but I certainly wouldn't be mad at him if he did. I just want to wish and dream for a moment here:

I agree it would be absolutely brilliant if Michael faked his death and was really working with the executors to broker all these deals. And it would be so on par for him to be the 1st entertainer of his magnitude to accomplish such a magnificent feat. But could he ever really resurface after doing it? You know, a lot of people thought Elvis was still living and that he really died in the mid 80's. Also alot of people thought Tupac was still alive since so much new music was still put out well after his death.

Imagine MJ sitting back somewhere watching and reading everything that has transpired since his supposed death. It's certainly a way to find out who his true friends, loyal family members and honest business associates are. Yep, it would be awesome if a healthy good/strapping looking Michael Jackson comes walking out of the shadows some day. Wow now that would be a day that would truly go down in history.

For a while I had alot of faith that MJ was still alive but then I saw that many of those who believe he is still alive, also believe Elvis is alive? I agree I wouldn't be mad I would be overjoyed if he was stil alive.

What do you mean what's this for? It's business. Michael Jackson is an enterprise and he is big business. Merchandising anything with his name and likeness is profit for his estate. How do you know he wouldn't like it? It was done with his blessing while he was living (a doll, trading cards, there was talk of a cologne and clothing line among other things).

I truly don't get why so many people are appalled by these money making ventures. Why are some saying enough already and don't the children have enough to live on for the rest of their lives? The executors are doing their job by generating money for the estate. The estate doesn't just stop at MJ3. What about MJ3's kids and their kids after that and so on? Wealthy people make and have money for their families for generation after generation. I don't see anyone telling the Rockefellers, the Microsoft guy (I can't think of his name right now) or whomever to stop doing business because they have enough. Hopefully MJ will continue to make money for as long and longer than Elvis, Marilyn or any other dead celebrity has.

I would like to think that they aren't cheating the estate, however with any big business unfortunately there are probably peole skimming somehow.

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention his charities that he contributed to throughout his life. Shouldn't they continue to benefit as well?

Disrespectful, too soon, and an obvious money grab. It will sell millions, sadly.

How is this exploitative? Jackson would have loved this. And a lot of his fans will love it. I think it's a great idea, and these kinds of quality deals -- the hit movie, the biggest record deal in history, Cirque du Soleil, the new video game -- are exactly what the estate should be doing. Why? Yes, to make money for the estate, bring pleasure to his fans, and honor Michael with quality projects. Don't forget: 20% OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S ESTATE GOES TO CHARITIES THAT BENEFIT CHILDREN. It's not all just for Jackson's kids. If the estate earns a billion, that's $200 million for charity, and it keeps on growing... It's great that Jackson's kids will have plenty of money, and hopefully they will be good stewards of this fortune and give most of it away to worthy charities when they gain control, but the greatest legacy of Michael Jackson will be the hundreds of millions of additional dollars that will eventually go to charities, in addition to the hundreds of millions he has already given. That's a truly great humanitarian. Because Jackson made sure to give away a significant portion of his estate to charities, through his estate's charitable giving, and then later hopefully through the charitable giving of his children, and his grandchildren, countless people around the world will be helped for generations to come, and it will probably amount to billions of dollars to charity.
